The food here is great and the price is fair for what you are getting. Big portions, and quality food. The chef is great! Chicken is moist and flavorful, even the salad is amazing! Try the ceveche and chocolate volcano cake too. I don't think...they use soy oil here. I probably visited this restaurant 3 times while I was in Manuel Antonio. It was my favorite!!More

The staff itself makes this place all worthwhile. The food and drinks were delicious and the vibe these guys put out is one of a kind. Rafa Jose and Jesus all go out of their way to help you out. We miss this place already

We chose El Arado based upon other TripAdvisor reviews. Here’s a breakdown of the items we ordered: Seafood fettuccini: excellent Casado with fish (mahi): excellent Fish Ceviche: excellent Piña colada: fresh and excellent It has been 16 years since my last trip to Costa Rica....I had been to Costa Rica 5 times between 1992 and 2004. I only came across mediocre boring food in restaurants recommended by locals and travel gurus. Well, things have changed for the better ... so much better! We highly recommend El Arado Restaurant for its amazing food and fantastic service!More

The calamari is excellent and great drinks and food. No view of the ocean, but the atmosphere was fun.

I had dinner here after visiting Manuel Antonio Park. I had a salad and a burger. Both were very good. During my dinner there were 3 or 4 playful monkees in the roof, awning area darting around and peeking at we diners. the evening sunset...was beautiful and the restaurant deck had as good a view as anywhere in the Manuel Antonio/Quepos area. Even great prices.More

We were there 2 nigths in a row. We got such a good experience first night that we wanted to experience it again... and we were not disappointed. Dont get distracted by the rustic appereance of the place, food quality is 5 star. Jesus and...his family put in authentic passion and love for what they do, and make you feel at home. The experience was completed with live music in charge of Arturo, a very talented guitar player that made the night very fun.More

Very tasty food and incredible vibe! Tried the tuna, fish ceviche, and seafood soup and they were all incredible. We ended with chocolate volcano which was very tasty. The guitar player was so good. The place is friendly and funny. We were welcomed very warmly...and felt home. We already want to come again here from the positive vibes. Must try if you are passing by Quepos!More

My friend and I passed by El Arado and decided to stop for happy hour. We were so glad we did! The cocktails were amazing and 2x1 from 3-8! Rafa made us premium margaritas. We will definitely be back!

Excellent service, food, and sanitary cleanliness. Food came out promptly and it was delicious. Cocktails were so good! Sure the food isn’t crazy extravagant but it’s tasty. Plus the music vibes are on point.. edm, live acoustic, you name it! This is a diamond in...the rough baby.More

We did not and would not get those shots and everything was fine. I fully trust the local food in most places. Check reviews and for cleanliness just like you would anywhere else. This restaurant is excellent.

About 10min walk. The 618 is a winding road busy with trucks, cars, and buses and no sidewalks here. I would walk it but if not good on your feet or you have young children I wouldn't recommend walking.
