The Friday night special is known by the locals as ribs night - so ymumy! They also do a great sausage meal and nachos that aren't your typical. The rum drink that I fell in love with has only rum, brown sugar, a little honey and lime - shaken, not stirred!

We walked in to what seemed like a casual bar with live music playing. The website we had found implied a more sophisticated set up. The food was excellent, the service friendly and efficient. Live music was very good. Three of us had the tuna which was huge and cooked exactly right. The Sauvignon was a little sharp, but we... More

We had two family meals at Barba Roja, and enjoyed both. The ribs were good, and the two for one burger special was especially good. Great place for families. Music was great and the view is spectacular. We were lucky enough to experience a gorgeous sunset.

Overall the dinner was quite good and the live music was fun! One of the best places we ate while in Manuel Antonio.

Family ate at Barba Roja and was pleasantly surprised by the ribs. I believe they smoke them all day and the sauce was very good as well. Live Music is frequent.

This place was recommended by the staff at the Mango Moon hotel and I am happy they did! Great view even though we had a few clouds. Try to catch this place just a little before sunset. Tasty food, good serving sizes and good happy hour. We fell in love with guana sours but they have craft beer which is... More

Always a festive place with good food (Tuesdays are two for one burgers), great service, and a million dollar view! We were a Party of 8 served by Alonso for Tuesday 2-4-1 burgers. Jordan led the band for sweet, live music. Barba Roja is a must do!
