This was our favorite stop of the Manuel Antonio leg of our trip. A very local, happy vibe,. Seemed to be the local watering hole for tons of Ex-Pats who made the vibe seem very comfortable and fun. Had a everyone knows everyone feel. The food was amazing and the band playing live Blues was fantastic as well!!!

Great atmosphere. So relaxed, and friendly service. Delicious cocktails, Ice cold beer. traditional Costa Rican cuisine was the best we had all week and the fresh catch ceviche was even better.

We stopped by Barba Roja a couple times during our stay in Manuel Antonio as this was allegedly the spot to get craft Costa Rican beer on tap, which was important to my hophead partner. Each time they didn't have ANY draft beer, let alone the fancy Libertas and other artisanal brews listed on their menus. This resulted in many... More

Arrive early for their 2 for 1 burger deal, and stay for the relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and comfortable dining area. Great food, good selection, and good value.

We stopped in for a few drinks along a walk downtown. We were served right away, and got to see monkeys in the trees. As soon as a table of girls came into the place, it was like all 6 of the servers stopped paying attention to their tables. We had to go up and ask for more drinks, and... More

We had the nachos and they were great. Ordered them grande for two. Regular would have been enough. There was live music with guitar which was a plus. It is an open air bar, but a nice one.

If you want to be wondered about food, this is not the place. Food is average. Tables too dirty. Need to mention that the prices are high. It doesn't offer a good balance of good food at reasonable price. Think twice before visiting this place.
