This stunning little cafe/restaurant served the best and freshest food we had in two weeks travelling around Costa Rica. The owner and his american wife were absolutely devoted to serving the finest food they could source. Something for everyone from a 2lb hamburger to the best calamari I have ever eaten. All served with a smile! Mainly populated by locals,... More

This is a super fun and very tasty place that caters to Americans. That said, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The vibe is casual fun. The food was very very good. Everyone in our party of 9 was happy with their choices which ranged from expertly prepared seafood to burritos. The atomophere is loud so don't go if... More

Rob and Paige, wow the food can't be beat. The tuna is off the chart, the fresh red snapper is unbelieavable. The calamari is the best I've ever had, anywhere. The view is spectacular the staff is great and the prices are right on.

What a pleasant surprise this place was! There is no bad seat in the place (all have a great view), but we were able to sit near the rail. It has a nice, open atmosphere and the food was good. We had burgers and they were all good. The prices are reasonable considering how close to the National Park they... More

I love Café Agua Azul, it has spectacular and breathtaking views, consistently great food (anything from burgers to creative gourmet dinner specials) and a great staff led by a hands on friendly expat that show everyone her "Southern Hospitality". I usually eat several lunches and dinners here on every visit to Manuel Antonio.

We ate early as were tired after our drive from St Elena, and walked just down the road to Agua Azul. They were warm and friendly and showed us to a table that would have had a great view if it hadn't been dark! Our boys had huge burgers and fries which were excellent, I had the tuna special which... Our family ate here and thought it was pretty good. I had a blackened fish sandwich and it had great flavor and was fresh. My husband had a burger and wasn't that impressed, but it wasn't awful. Our kiddos has chicken fingers and they were good. The view is amazing and service was good. We would recommend it and return... More
