We were recommended to this place when we couldn't find a place opened for lunch. The restraint is between the fishing village and Mal Pais and tricky to find. While the tables are mixed matched and mostly all outdoor seating, the view is like one other in Mal Pais. The mai tai was so good I went back here for... More

I was here solo for a Valentine's lunch and it was delicious food with a beautiful setting. I sat right in the front with an unobstructed view of the ocean...with a margarita which was pretty strong...but I didn't mind! Sure it's a tad pricey...but I went for the scenic experience and I have no regrets.

It's a bit spendy, but you're paying for the atmosphere. The drinks are good and strong, go have one and watch the sun set. I had the tropical ceviche twice. The first time was amazing, the second time the mango (?) seemed a bit off, but I ate it anyway. I didn't get seriously sick, but was nauseous for a... More

This was one of my favourite restaurants that we have ever been to in Costa Rica. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and all of the different tables on the beach. We were here for sunset and thought it was beautiful then, but loved how the lights transformed it once it was dark as well. The service was fantastic and the... More

Wonderful informal restaurant on the beach. Spectacular views. Very relaxed. Great ceviche. And they accept credit cards, which is quite rare in this area.

My wife and I had dinner here one night and absolutely loved it. It was a bit more low key than the Santa Teresa restaurants, in a good way. It was a great place to relax and let the sound of the waves wash over us as we enjoyed some delicious food. Make sure to check this place out at... More

We had drinks for sunset, right in front of the beach, excellent ceviche, and service ok, worth the visit!

This restaurant has the BEST CEVICHE ON THE BEACH ! Ugh the food and the service is amazing. There is this server who on our last night had 13 tables by himself but was running back and fourth to accommodate everyone and still had a huge smile even though he was drenched in sweat. He even remembered us from the... More

Just stopped here for a beer. What a wonderful setting! So off the grid in many ways. Nothing matches but everything is helter skelter and created to serve the view of this rustic and primitive section of beach. The food that was served to other patrons looked enticing. This might be a great place to stay as well as they... More

We sat at a table that fronts the beach; one of many that do. Very tranquil and a lovely setting; we watched the surf while the sun set. It does not get any better than this. Food-wise we were not disappointed; the ceviche was excellent, as was the seafood. Definitely recommended!
