My family and I had gone here a few years ago for breakfast and it was pretty good. Then a couple of years later I went back there with a group of guys and Wahoos appeared to be changing. The atmosphere was nothing to write home about. Then last year, I didn't go there at all. They were in the... More

The place is a nice open air location conveniently on the main road across from the park and the food is good for normal basic Tico food. Prices seem high - as they are almost everywhere in this beach tourist town - but unless you like loud Karaoke that is the drawback. Thankfully it is not every night.

we ate breakfast at this place, and watch the parade doing the International Surfing Tournament. This place also has Karaoke A good night scene.

Wahoo's was always a favorite of ours in Jaco. But, as the town gets bigger, and opportunities come, things change. It is now a sports bar with a restaurant. The waitress did not speak English, which the girls before always did. The food is still good.

My wife and I went here on the way to MA. Took a while to get a menu and drinks. Took even longer to actually order and for our food to eventually get served. I believe the server was the cook and was running a one man show, it's the only good reason for the service to have been so... More

If you want good typical Costa Rican casados, go to Wahoo's. It's outdoors, so no A/C. Very small, simple place, but good food. We had good service.

I knew what I was getting into, with a menu that has a $14 (USD) fillet mignon. I wanted an "enselate solo verdurdas" and they accomodated me well, and for the price, my steak was good. It has a nice outdoor atmosphere (Jaco style) and the waitstaff was really hard working and friendly. Its mostly outdoor seating with sun cover.... More

The food is better than the atmosphere. Mostly an older (retired) crowd with a few locals mixed in. The restaurant needed more staff as there were only two waitresses and both were manning the bar. The food was good and decently priced ($6 for casado) and since it was not far from our hotel and an easy walk, we gave... More

Incredible food. Everything we had was good. The chicken nachos were especially tasty. The staff was friendly and really well priced.

Took some friends to Wahoo. In the past the food was normally very good but this time my Tuna steak that I asked to be seared but rare was well done. my friend that got Mahi had the same issue of a shoe leather piece of fish. only my wife's pasta was any good. Our waitress rarely came by and... More
