This place is a joke. Japanese food should be fresh, light and delicate. The overpriced sushi here is served tripping with oil and the seafood ingredients are far from fresh, stodgy as. We both felt so ill after eating here. Never again!

Sushi was expensive even by Houston, TX standards. We had to ask for wasabi and ginger after the food was delivered to the table. The mojito was not very good and had to send the crown royal and sprite back because it wasn't crown and sprite. Asked for crown royal and ice only. Received a stingy glass of crown after... More

Right on the main drag of Jaco-upstairs-is this little jewel called Tsunami Sushi. The interior of this restaurant is so beautiful and the chairs and booths are comfortable. The booths even have a pillow you can put behind you. BUT none of that compares to the quality of the food. We went there twice and both times were fabulous. My... More

We went on a Wednesday night when they have 1/2 price rolls. I got two rolls and they were huge could have got away with 1. My husband had the teriyaki chicken and it tasted great. Defiantly get a bowl of miso soup, great flavor. It gets busy on Wednesday. They remind costumers that the rolls may take a lil... More

Visited this restaurant on a Sunday. The traditional sushi was good but their house sushi was great. We tried their pollo loco and we wanted more. Be careful prices can creep up on you. Two rolls, one entrée with one desert $70 dollars.

I'm from California where we have tons of sushi. This is one of the best places for sushi rolls. On the expensive side, but hey I would rate this as one of the top tasting sushi places I've been too.
