Travelled in "low" season. Owner was so friendly and offering to make things off the menu for our kids. But not necessary, since everything was delicious. Def. our favorite meal in Tortuguero.

Very focused menu under the premise "no rice & beans", but very delicious selection! No matter if you are a vegetarian or not you'll find something delicious! They only use fresh ingredients! Additionally they offer self made, sometimes a little alternative drinks, which as incredibly delicious as everything else! If you have the chance go there! And they also take... More

What an amazing meal at Wild Ginger. The owners are awesome people and the food is top quality. Fresh, well seasoned. Great batidos. One of our best meals in Tortuguero. Thanks!

We ate here on our last night in tortugero, as we read the reviews on TripAdvisor and wanted to give it a shot. We ordered a set of daiquiris and the sampler platter to get the night rolling. Service was excellent, and we felt welcome at the table. The Guacemole was tastefully spicy, and the hummus had a garlic tinge... More

Food was good, the place was nice and the owners were friendly. Both spoke good English. The dinner was tasty and the portions adequate. We had two young kids and it was good for them. The owner was helpful and gave us lots advice for our stay. The water was also safe to drink. Would certainly go there again.

You have to go to this restaurant at least once if you are in Tortuguero. It is a bit more pricey than the rest, but it is well worth it. They had updated their menu when we had arrived so things were a bit more affordable than we expected. We are both vegan and they were very accommodating with our... More

What a surprise! This restaurant on the beach road in Tortuguero serves really good food. The owner waited on us and gave us some good pointers on where to see macaws.

Just delicious, go for it ! Fresh, veggie options, inventive. Very friendly owners, nice setting and nicely located next to the beach and miss Junie's hotel.
