Guys, if you are looking for a phenomenal breakfast in Puerto Viejo, you've found it. We stumbled across this little cafe and immediately fell in love. Good coffee, great views of the beach. Its a laid back spot and its tiny! So you just settle in and soak in the views. We had banana pancakes that were out of this... More

Mar, the owner is the lovliest person ever! The sandwiches are so delicious, I already miss them! Fresh, high quality food! They care about recycling and know where they get their ingredients from! Silvia and Angela are so nice and the vibe of the cafe is so nice! The view is lovely and the music typical Puerto!

We stumbled across this place while seeking out some quick food. The menu is simple but does it well. We opted for some sandwiches which were awesome! My smoothie was fantastic as well. My wife had an iced tea which was a little on the south side but it is explained that it is a tea bag with iced water... More

You will be invited to yourself to enter and taste anything here. Believe me, I don't drink coffee. My mom says coffee is good. We found here great Caribbean homemade snacks that we promise ourself to get back again every time we will visit Puerto Viejo.

On the second floor opposite the MEPE bus stop, this coffee shop is easy to miss. Run by a friendly couple, the coffee and sandwiches are delicious. The bread is fresh baked every day. The talented lady runs the clothes boutique called Manifesto next door in addition to the DreadNut and paints colorful postcards as well. I spent 2 hours... More

We ate here after a couple hours of surfing. The bread was homemade and the juices were so fresh. Please eat here you won't regret it.

Didn't find this place until I was leaving Puerto Viejo, and it's a real shame. It has such a relaxed vibe and tons of neat artwork- not to mention amazing coffee!

I was there a couple of days ago for a fruit smoothie. I spent 3 weeks around the country and at least I took a smoothie everyday in lot of places and it was everywhere good or excellent. But in this little bar I can only say I had the only bad smoothie ( if I can call so a... More

Buy a good loaf of bread here. Our adult kids ordered the toasted ham cheese and tomatoes sandwich and described it as amazing. Banana bread was very good. If weather permits can sit outside and enjoy the ocean view.
