I reviewed this restaurant back in 2015 and this chef was impressed. WHAT HAPPENED!!!! They changed the menu, took off most pasta dishes, we had the snapper in citrus sauce. It was OK, but served with white rice tiny little pile. Our friend had a,...pizza. They used to have great appetizers, not any more. Plus the tiramasu was out of the freezer, never had frozen tiramasu before. The service was really bad. We had to wave to get someone to come over. Please if you want to spend a lot of money don't go here. La percora Nero is the best at the same price. They are definitely not the same restaurant that we have gone to multiple times. We paid around $200 US for 3 people with bad service and a really bad new menu. This expat chef is taking back my 2015 review. There are much better restaurants for half the price. If you want to spend a lot of money for poor service and just OK food, go, but there are better restaurants than this. Don't know if it has new owners, or they are just in it for the money. This chef will never go there again. La Percora Nero puts this place to shame with prices that reflect the pride and effort that goes into a great dinner experience. The 3 of us went out feeling ripped off. Take my advice if you are traveling there are so many good restaurants, this one is now at the bottom of this chefs list. Please take my advice this expat has been to almost every restaurant. Take your money and spend it on good food. When we asked for extra sauce we were told we don't have anymore. What, never in my career would I let anyone say that, I would quickly make more sauce since we asked when we ordered. No more shrimp appitizers. Spend your money on good food. Sorry have to un recommend this restaurant. Way overpriced for what you get and the poor service. A big thumbs down.More
