We ate twice there. First time we had pizza for take away and i ordered a pizza margherita with black olives. At home i saw that the pizza had ham and canned mushrooms on it, not very good for a vegetarian meal. The second time...we had ravioli with pumpkin filling, which was not on the menu. The portion was very small. At the end we paid 15000 crc each! That was more expensive than every other meal on the menu. We felt ripped off and would not recommend this place to anyone!!More

extremely overpriced. We haven't seen such exaggerated prices for a long time. In addition, the portions were child-sized. cannot support that. All other restaurants in the area are much better in terms of price and quality. Better to revise your concept once.

I have been staying at home cooking my own food for several weeks now and last night we decided to go out. Amimodo (My Way) was my choice cuz I love their capacho and I was not disappointed. After the fabulous capacho they followed with...a fresh salmon that was glorious in a special sweet sauce they make themselves. So for excellent food excellent quality and excellent service you also get open dining out in the air close to the Sea. Wonderful place to visit at this time.More

I reviewed this restaurant back in 2015 and this chef was impressed. WHAT HAPPENED!!!! They changed the menu, took off most pasta dishes, we had the snapper in citrus sauce. It was OK, but served with white rice tiny little pile. Our friend had a,...pizza. They used to have great appetizers, not any more. Plus the tiramasu was out of the freezer, never had frozen tiramasu before. The service was really bad. We had to wave to get someone to come over. Please if you want to spend a lot of money don't go here. La percora Nero is the best at the same price. They are definitely not the same restaurant that we have gone to multiple times. We paid around $200 US for 3 people with bad service and a really bad new menu. This expat chef is taking back my 2015 review. There are much better restaurants for half the price. If you want to spend a lot of money for poor service and just OK food, go, but there are better restaurants than this. Don't know if it has new owners, or they are just in it for the money. This chef will never go there again. La Percora Nero puts this place to shame with prices that reflect the pride and effort that goes into a great dinner experience. The 3 of us went out feeling ripped off. Take my advice if you are traveling there are so many good restaurants, this one is now at the bottom of this chefs list. Please take my advice this expat has been to almost every restaurant. Take your money and spend it on good food. When we asked for extra sauce we were told we don't have anymore. What, never in my career would I let anyone say that, I would quickly make more sauce since we asked when we ordered. No more shrimp appitizers. Spend your money on good food. Sorry have to un recommend this restaurant. Way overpriced for what you get and the poor service. A big thumbs down.More

Amimodo is the best Italian place in town! I live about 2 minutes away and literally eat her at least once a week. Great pastas, delicious Italian pizzas, and super fresh salads! The restaurant itself looks very nice and has cute tables out back near...the beach. Also a great location to have a romantic date. I highly recommend you to try it out. You won't regret it!More

We had a nice dinner but it set us back quite a bit. Italian fare, well done, great wines. Do go if you're feeling generous.

Hard to go wrong with a meal in this place. Laid back, reasonable prices, and great food. They spoke English better than we spoke Spanish. Friendly service, ice cold beer, and everything we had was large and tasted good.

My husband and I went with 3 Canadian college students. It was our second time there. We were happy to have the students try the pizza. The authentic crust and toppings made for a perfect pizza. We also enjoy sitting outside under the palm canopies...and watching the activity on the ocean. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go there again when we return to the area.More
