The owner of our hotel pointed Miss Edith's out and said it's a place that we should try out. The food is very fresh and very flavorful! So good!

OMG! We loved Miss Edith's. We both had the jerk pork chop dinner. It was beyond delicious! Nice cold beers and great food close to the beach. Don't miss this gem if visiting Cahuita.

Everything here was very fresh and tasty! It was recommended to us by the owner of the hotel and I'm very happy we went! I had the octopus and it was cooked perfectly!

Tasteless food. The portions were small and the service slow. The batidos were ok but expensive We were disappointed in every aspect

I love Miss Edith's Restaurant. Every single little thing about it. I ate quite a few meals here and everything was just perfect! You have a great view of the sea, as well as a refreshing breeze... What more could you ask for? If you visit, DO NOT MISS THE FRIED PLANTAIN! (And grab some extra for snacks)

Not cheap but excellent jerk chicken even if portions were a bit on the small side. Nice seaside location.

Excellent Caribbean ambrosia! Well worth the wait - know that your dish is cooked to order, and we were made aware of the wait. Fantastic meal! Two different chicken dishes, one with green bananas and one with breadfruit, appetizer of patacones- all delicious. A ginger lime drink was ordered and prepare from scratch. Love the food :). I live its... More

Came back to this restaurant after a few years. It still is located at the end of the town, a few blocks from the center and entrance to the national park. Its setting is very rustic, plastic table cloths on the tables in a very run-down house. Service is extremely slow, even for local standards. But the food is very... More

The food was excellent and served hot and fresh. I recommend the guacamole with fresh chips. The service is a little slow.

Worth a visit for the food, it's true Caribbean authentic food. Food is pricey. The owner seems to resent customers not very welcoming and keen for you to leave as soon as you have eaten. It's a real shame as it could be wonderful. They obviously don't need the trade other customers came in and left before ordering due to... More
