It is enough for two persons. It is big dishes and taste good. Smoothies are fresh and in big cups. Price is reasonable!

Happened on this place near my B&B. It is bare bones simple, but the food is terrific and the real deal. I got the pabellon nacional, Venezuela's answer to casado and which won hands down. another day I had a reina pepiada arepa. One of...the things I loved in Venezuela when I lived there a looong time ago was places like this and I've usually been disappointed when I eat in a Venezuelan place outside of the patria. Not today. The real deal. I told the owner that he needs to move to the US and open up there and share the wealth. I had a grin at the little glossary for the Ticos for example patilla=sandia, lechosa=papayaMore

Will definitely be coming back. I went last night to have dinner with a friend and the food is delicious. The price is decent and they have an extensive menu to choose from, as well as drinks. The service was professional and the place is...clean and spacious. Great for groups!More

The food at this place is good, try La Reina Pepiada, made out of corn, chicken and avocado... simply great, they only bad thing about this is the service time, you can spend 30 mins to get your food...

Visited this restaurant and had to-go food while on vacation in Costa Rica. My friend who lives there suggested this restaurant for a late night dinner. I was suprised at how good it actually was.. the fried cheese and the avacado chicken salad pocket amazing!!!...My boyfriend had the "super patacon" it was a sandwich in between two plaintains. He can't stop talking about it!More

I am from Venezuela living in the States and came to CR for pleasure with my wife and found the Venezuelan join in Trip Advisor. The place was clean and the food was great. We drink the Mango, strwaberry and pineapple juice, it was good. Then...order la Arepa de Reina pepiada and Arepa carita. It was good flavor but the grand finale was la cachapa con queso de mano, this was my wife's favorite. I will recommend this place no doubt and we'll come back.More

I was at Sabor Venezolano last night, actually, not my first time there. I want to share with everybody the great time I spent there, the staff is nice and the food is great, "arepa sifrina" is one of my favorite dishes, if you are...with 2 or 3 more people, try the dish with the samples, it has a little bit of everything. I really recommend this place to everybody.More

the food is good, taste like the Venezuelan's cook it, they have a good variety, but the food is so slow to be ready. Restaurant was at 40% capacity and they took over an hour to prepare 3 arepas (the most common dish). If it...was 50% or 80% I dont know if it would have taken 2 hours, but they can sure cant manage the capacity of the place, less the take out orders, if this would be fixed, this place will get 5 stars (for a fast food place)More

What an excellent location this restaurant offers when facing traffic jam... So that is why we enjoy so much the great arepas that they offer. A must go place for quick and great food.

This a venezuelan concept merged with Costa Rican cousin, you can find the traditional arepas, patacones (from either sweet plantain or the green ones) as replacement of bread to create a tasty sandwich of shredded beef braised. The prices are just fair. It is not...fancy. No the right place for your fist date. Good option if you wanna go with friends or family. It needs improvement on the rapidness to serve your order.More
