Great atmosphere. Very fresh tasting fish and great service. The Love Boat was recommended by our host.

Every time we visit Tamarindo, a stop at Bamboo is a must. Reasonably priced, great service and food. We first came across Bamboo a few years ago during a National Beach Volley tournament. We will return.
Bamboo is a cozy place where you get good service and great food. They had good specials with special prices, and a wide variety of asian cuisine. I recommend the tempura vegetables.
Hard to fully enjoy outdoors in the evening heat, but the food was overall great. The staff was a bit slower, but tico time? We enjoyed several rolls, shrimp fried rice and the vegetable Hossain stir fry.

Paper thin salmon sashimi, paper thin tuna and salmon nigiri. Good flavor but so cheap with the fish. Won't be returning.

Sushi was very fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. The calamari was among the best I've ever eaten. We live near Chicago where there are some excellent sushi restaurants. This ranked right up there with the best of them.
We love this place! It is just behind a row of shops and is like a hidden secret garden. Beautiful grounds! Service is great and the sushi is amazing. You have to try the shrimp tempura...they are huge!
