Food wasn't great despite the steep prices. The service however was great. My biggest issue with this place is the amount of plastic they use. No need to serve me plastic if I am eating on-site. I prefer to go to neighbouring Tamarindo businesses who...More

Thank you for your review of our restaurant. At Eat at Joes restaurant as well as our other restaurant El Vaquero we use normal glassware, glass plates and silverware as well as paper straws. Note we have been using paper straws for over a year...More

We ate at Joes a couple of times and were never disappointed but were never blown away. Their happy hour specials were good and it was nice to sit along the beach to enjoy a good meal.

We ate here 3 times while in Tamarindo. We love their breakfast. The view is Looking at the beach. It can take awhile to get the bill but food is great. Love the hot cakes eggs and bacon.

Ok, I haven’t tried all the Casado in town, but Eat at Joe’s is the favorite of what I have tried. The chicken is perfectly marinated and the salad is fresh with big ripe tomatoes. I have tried to replicate this dish at home and...More

This restaurant brings you exactly what you could have imagined. But no culinary wonders. The nacho plate is truly enormous (and is very clearly marketed as such) and with medium quality. It’s nicely located by the beach so come for the venue and it being...More

Standard bar fare. Tasty and classic. Pina coladas at happy hour can flatten you :). This is a great spot to grab a bite especially if you are staying at Witch's Rock Surf Camp. Awesome crowd too- very social and friendly. My favorite snack item...More

I had lunch here with 3 friends on 07/21/18. First, parking should not be a problem. There are spaces and/or other options. Get here early, because after Noon, it may be hard to find a space. The town gets crowded. We were courteously greeted and...More

Tough to review. Seating great for the beach. Service typical CR: initially there, never to be seen again. Food- pretty bad. Mosquitos were ferocious. If you have a choice, keep walking to another joint.

Eat At Joe`s is very convenient being at Witch`s Rock Surf camp. The food is a little bland in my opinion but the staff is super nice.

Having been a guest of Witch's Rock Surf Camp on multiple occasions, I've eaten lots of meals here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Most of their tables overlook the beach, have a view of the main surf break on Playa Tamarindo, and you can come...More
