Had dinner here when we arrived in Samara. I was glad that I read the Tripadvisor reviews because it was really a gem. The food was very good and the staff was very nice and friendly . Food was very affordable and we were happy. Definitely much better than hotel food! Will go again!

Great portions and food for our family of five. This is a nice family-run spot that is family friendly. Solid Tico cuisine. We had two dinners and a lunch here, mostly casados. Extra fun when there's a soccer game on TV.

Jardin Marino was the first restaurant we ate at when we arrived in Sámara. They serve Costa Rican specialties and the food is served hot and fresh! Spotlessly clean and very well priced. We ate here several times during our stay and enjoyed it each and every time!!

Local place, casual atmosphere, very clean and the food was amazing. After one meal there my bf and I were hooked, we had all remaining lunches and dinner there (we had 4 different meals each and we loved everything we had. Highly recommend the red snapper and the sauteed jumbo garlic shrimp ...the steak (aka bistec) was phenomenal too! A... More

We ate here the night we arrived in Samara. We were exhausted but dying for our favorite CR dish, cosado. Jardin Marino didn't disappoint. My grouper was fresh & delicious and my husband's steak was cooked perfectly. Nothing fancy but just what we have come to love in Costa Rica.

We went back to Jardin Marino for dinner after having had a great meal there a year ago. Same positive experience with the food, the service and the atmosphere. Casado con pescadore was v good - so much so that I had it again a few days later! Also would recommend the jumbo shrimp with garlic - a bit pricey... More

Not sure it they even have a chef! (Pleaaase read this review before you visit this place). *** This "soda" charged the double compared to "soda" prices in Costa Rica and food is very bad! **** > We started with an easy appetizer… “Patacones with beans…” (ANY “soda” at Costa Rica could fail with this dish) but they did it!... Ate here for lunch on recommendation from our hotel. Chicken Casado was delicious. Good size portions, with fresh salad and veggies.
