Food was excellent and great wine selection. We had the fresh Ahi tuna rolls, tender steak with onion rings, shrimp with veggies and portobello mushroom. However, it was way too expensive for Costa Rica. This was our most expensive meal during our 2 week stay.

We visited Ginger twice on our trip and had a great experience both times. Everyone was very friendly and the food was excellent quality. The restaurant is very beautiful. We went once with a large group and once as a couple and it was perfect for both occasions.

This is the best restaurant in the Hermosa Area and many say in Guanacaste. The dishes are innovative and tasty, but on the small size as they are tapas. My kids are pretty adventurous eaters (their favorite food is sushi and dim sum), but some tapas were too rich for them and recommend getting some of the plainer items to... More

We are staying at El Mangrove and have eaten mostly at the hotel. Ginger is only about 2 miles away. Very nice outside dinning area. The food was amazing. Everything we tried was great. The owner and chef is Canadian. Maybe this is why the service is not the incredibly slow service you usually get in Costa Rica. By far... More

So cool to dine outside like you were in a tree house. A few different levels. Main dishes were tapas. Food was so good. Staff very friendly and located in a very cool town. A must go to .

I heard from the locals that this was one of the places to eat. Be careful, as it is pricey. It is a tapas restaurant. I was told to order two if I was not too hungry, three if I were. I had the Tuna and the Asian Tacos. Both were extremely delicious. I would recommend eating here, but like... More

Came here with family and loved it. Great food, great service - the plates are small like "tapas" and this is perfect for a group to try different things.

To Start off we didnt realize it was a Tapas form of restaurant. but the food overall was good for decent price although i do recommend going with 5-6 people just to get a good variety of food and to split the bill better. But the food is very FREASHLY cooked and the staff was friendly

A tapas bar with a twist: Asian and Mediterranean fusion, great list of New World Wines by the glass, cocktails made with fresh tropical juices. Exciting and eclectic cuisine like no other in Costa Rica!
