We stopped here recently during a visit to Coco Beach after discovering the restaurant on TripAdvisor. I must admit based on first impressions I wasn’t sure what to expect as it’s definitely a no thrills kind of place. That being said the food produced was absolutely fantastic and I’m gutted that we didn’t discover it sooner. I found the prices... More

Our guide from Costour recommended this place. We had a family dinner there and totally loved the food. The food was very tasty. The portions generous! Service was very friendly. Well situated on the main strip downtown Coco!

We walked over for lunch to have some delicious shawarma's. Both chicken & falafel. Would definitely recommend.

We tracked this place down based on other TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The owner was really nice, the food was delicious, and she's nice to the local street dogs.

I wasn't that hungry, but the food was so good I licked my plate clean. I ordered the fish on potatoes w/ vegetables.

We visit Playa Coco quite often. However, this was our first time to Le Coq. After reading the rave reviews online, we decided to check this place out. The reviews were spot on. The food was great. We had the chicken plate. 7000 colones and a bottled water. It comes a generous portion of chicken, a tomato cucumber salad, hummus,... More

I am always looking for a quick heathy meal while in Hermosa/CoCo. Finally made it to Le COQ based on the amazing TA reviews. I am a marathon runner and try to stick to a healthy diet. The owner had some suggestions for me based on what I was looking for. I highly recommend the chicken! We will most certainly... More

Delicious food and casual street eatery with big enough portions for the larger appetites. Awesome service and friendly staff. English spoken. Love it and go there at least once a week.

I had the kabob (which I didn't understand was in a wrap so didn't eat the giant flour tortilla). the tzatsiki sauce was way too garlicky for me and meat was very salty. great street view for people watching, better prices than most of the downtown restaurants, super friendly & fast service, nice fresh produce

We were at the Coco beach and decided to try this restaurant. The owner was very nice and helpful and saw us melting so she told us we can eat at the casino. The food portion was very large and it was tasty. We had a lot of over cooked food in CR so we appreciated the food here.
