We went looking for this place last night as we wanted some Spanish food. The place appears to closed and operating as another business. No one we saw on the street knew of the restaurant. We may be wrong but recommend you call ahead to see if they are still open to save yourself the trip.

After reading the reviews of this restaurant we decided to try it. Unfortunately we were disappointed. It was Saturday night and only 1 other couple in the restaurant contrary to other reviews of needing a reservation. Appetizers were good but not great. Main entrées overpriced for what we received. We asked for butter for our bread and we're charged $4... More

Note: new server in February, 2016, so be prepared as she is learning the trade. But the food is still excellent. I highly recommend the Pulpa (octopus). It is prepared with authentic Spanish pakprika that the owner/chef has shipped directly from Spain. Completely different flavor from Hungarian paprika. Ask any taxi driver to take you if you're not driving. It's... More

I've visited La Farola before and once again it did not disappoint! The gazpacho soup and fruit salad were flavourful and very refreshing on what was an otherwise warm evening. We followed that with calamari, croquettes and mussels. For the entree we had the grilled fish and sirloin. My favourite dessert is flan, so I had to go with that!... More

The place had 2 other tables in it all night. Yet service was slow. Food was ok at best and expensive. Not local inspired at all. Pretty sure there is where we got food poisoning that laid us up for a few days. It was the sea bass that tasted funny. Why have it anyways get a local fish. Can... More

This restaurant was at the top of the trip advisors list so we were hopeful. Very disappointing! Very expensive for what we got...mussels order at $15 was 6 mussels in a spicy cream sauce. Good tastes but over priced and mini portion... Not worth it!

The host and the chef are from Galicia, Spain, and their menu reflects the various savoury dishes of Spain. The ambiance is warm and comfortable. You need not rush through your meal as it is one sitting only. Take your time to enjoy the tasty appetizers, like croquettes, et al. Exceptional gazpacho soup. Pulpo a la Gallega is as good... More

Based on the reviews we had high expectations. The restaurant is charming, place settings and glasses are upscale - very nice atmosphere and different than all of the other casual restaurants. The were only 2 other tables with guests on a Friday night. We arrived at 7pm with a reservation. We did not receive our menus for 20 minutes. Water... More

First, ignore what GPS tells you as Google maps did not take us even close! Go to La Dolce Vita and turn on that street a half a block east. The restaurant will be in a yellow building on the left. We tried to make reservations but the phone always had a busy signal. Not sure if it was my... More

Even though it was difficult to find, we didnt give up and found it tucked away in a street near a small shopping plaza. The food there was amazing. The owners( who entirely run the restaurant together) were so sweet and inviting. They do not speak a word of english but we managed just fine. He was serving the food... More
