My husband had the sea food soup which was large enough for 2-3 people! It was huge!! I had a plate of grilled parrot fish which came with fries, steamed vegetables and a salad of cabbage and fresh cucumbers. No alcohol here except for beer so I opted for tamarindo juice. I thought I'd be hungry but once I finished... More

Don't let the small and simple look of the family owned soda deter you. Cosada de pescado was muy bien. Fish plate. Fried fresh snapper, i asked for dos pescado and it was perfect for a big guy. Carmelized plantain, rice and beans, a lightly pickled simple salad, and some spicy pickles vegetables at the table. Hot sauce was great.... More

We drove about 25 mins to Playa del Coco - Soda la Teresita for dinner due to a recommendation from our hotel el Mangroove. We got there at about 7:30-8pm and were the only people there. Our waitress was not the friendly and did not put much effort into taking our order. I ordered a casado with fish filet because... More

Small place in front of the sea, with very good local food. We tried the pargo frito entero (whole red snapper) and it was very fresh. My friend tried arroz con mariscos (seafood rice) and he liked it very much. Laid back and casual, it is good value for money

I stopped in for lunch while visiting Coco Beach. I wanted some authentic Costa Rican food. It was absolutely delicious. The service was good and fast, the food was hot and yummy. I want to go back to try another dish.

Great place to come for food in Playa del Coco. Good views of the water and nice Costa Rican food. They have a few western dishes if you fancy it but we stuck to the casado and ceviche.

Much of the dinning in Coco is very casual in nature. The Soda La Teresita is exactly that kind of laid back casual eating experience that you would expect. The restaurant is located across the street from the beach park. We chose to sit outside facing the ocean. This afforded us a great view of the sunset to accompany our... More

After a long drive back to coco from Monteverde me and my fiancé were hungry. We stopped at la teresita for lunch and were greeted readily by the owner. Real good "home cooked" Costa Rican food. Nothing special but food was good.

Stayed for only 4 days, but came here twice! We went in slightly early during breakfast time, but oddly we did not want breakfast food, we wanted what was on their lunch menu. The owner guy was very friendly and said anything we want, and we asked if we could do take out so that we can eat at the... More
