We had the paella and the portions were huge as were the wine pours. We had plenty of left overs to eat again the next day. Went back our last night for a glass of wine ;-)

great location, right on the beach, oldest restaurant around, local fare. The only problem were the flies that attacked us when dinner was served. The really need to have big candles, or fans or something to deal with the flies.

This restaurant was recommended by one of the tour guides we had on our trip and it didn't disappoint. We had a nice table right out by the beach. Beautiful night, and good food. We had the Paella and it was delicious. The sangria was good too! Good service.

Traveling in the rainy season we were afraid their would be no live music. I ate a delicious red snapper and looked up to see a guitar and music stand. Mr. Salazar a flamingo style guitarist had travel several hours from San Jose to perform! That was awesome! Also I should mention, this place is right on the beach and... More

We had lunch here twice during our 11 days in CR. The servers were very attentive, friendly and fast. The host was very prompt and made sure everything was good. The bartender joked around with us and was friendly and chatty while we sat and had drinks. Great food and great relaxed atmosphere right along the beach. Top notch.

We didn't order food but we did have delicious drinks with a great beach view after a morning of diving. The bartender was so friendly and funny. I'm sorry I didn't get his name. Great beach bar with great service!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner overlooking Coco Beach with friends. The food was delicious and setting can not be beat, Great service too with very attentive staff. We had the fish ceviche and sangria to start. The seafood dinners we had were all good. I would highly recommend this place.

Given all the available choices, we probably wouldn't have found this gem if not for the concierge at our hotel. Thank you concierge! Not to minimize our culinary excursions while in CR, I can safely say that this was the best meal we had. I strongly recommend the Sopa Azteca, and Pargo Asado. I wish I could have eaten more!... We took an excursion to Coco Beach for some souvenir shopping and ran across this restaurant. Since the resort food was so awful we decided to treat ourselves and what a treat it was. The staff was very delightful and the view was awesome. Highly recommend if you're in the area... you won't be sorry!!
