Pato Loco is my favorite breakfast place, in Coco!!! The food is made with love!!! Mary, makes you feel like you're at your relatives home!!! She does it all, hostess, cook, waitress, & friendly conversationalist!!! Her homemade biscuits & gravy, is just like my grandma used to make!! A simple menu, with awesome choices, large portions, and prices, to die... More

Great breakfast and friendly staff. Mary is the friendliest host, and all the staff are pleasant. Can't say enough great things about the Pato Loco!

If you are looking for an authentic North American style breakfast, then this is the best place in Coco for it! A full, hearty breakfast with your choice of rye bread as well. Good value considering how expensive most places in Coco are. Mary, the owner, is very nice and hospitable. Location is a little out of the way close... More

We love hanging out in Coco and this little gem right on the main drag as you enter town is a fabulous place to enjoy a quiet American style breakfast at reasonable rates. Mary, the proprietor is friendly and accommodating - we will definitely being going back.

As soon as you walk into the restaurant you receive a "big welcome" from Mary and you would think you have been friends for years. Wonderful people that offer great service and the only place I good for breakfast. A wide variety of breakfast dishes and the coffee is always fresh.

This place has been around awhile. The breakfast is deflinitely the best around Coco. The pastas are tasty also. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. However, it is important to note if you are not a seasoned traveler in the area, food in general around this area of Costa Rica is mediocre by US standards. Stick with local ingredients/fare. Fish,... More

Located on the main drag in Coco, Pata Loco is far enough away from the main touristy area to garner a nice crown of mostly local expats. A must oif you want a great breakfast.

This is absolutely the best breakfast around. The breakfast sausage is so lean and tasty! You can't go wrong by eating here! The owner is so friendly! It's always on our list of places to go when we are in Costa Rica!
