We came here for an evening meal. The focaccia was a nice to start but they brought out my pasta literally straight after so wasn't much of a starter more of a side dish. Sadly the pasta was cold but they were more than happy to reheat it. The pastas were nice, maybe a little too much pesto but still... More

We all had enough of the mediocre food in our hotel the Kioro and were craving a pizza . After reading the reviews we opted for Anch'io and were so glad we did . The pizzas were excellent . Being French Italien I'm particular about it ! Their pizzas are thin ,crispy crust and the right amount of topping .We... More

My son was craving pizza so we went to Anch'io. He enjoyed his pizza and I had a caprese salad with bread. It was a nice meal and we both enjoyed the service and food.

Stopped in after walking around town. We each got a pizza. They are pretty big but very, which I like, so each person ate nearly all of theirs. We had two adults and two teen girls. They waiter was very friendly and when he saw our daughter trying her Spanish out he seemed to enjoy bantering with her. At the... More

We ate here twice during our stay in La Fortuna. We were surprised at how authentic the pizza tasted. Delicious! We also at at Restaurante Cafe Mediterraneo. Comparing the two, we'd say that Anch'io had better pizza but so-so staff and Restaurante Cafe Mediterraneo had better staff (including the owner) but the pizza, while tasty, wasn't as authentic.

We were craving Italian food, which brought us to Anch'ios. The food was delicious. We had the Seafood Pizza, which was loaded with Seafood (picture), the Pizza with Sardines and Pasta with tomato sauce and shredded beef. The meals, as well as the wine were delicious and we would go back anytime. The Pizzas are prepared in the wood-burning stove.... More

The food here was very good. The pizza was thin crust crust and perfectly cooked. The calzones are huge with lots of fresh ingredients such as mushrooms and cheese inside. Overall the it is very good Italian food. The only downfall is the menu is not in English so there was a little bit of a barrier trying to figure... More

We enjoyed our dinner at Anch'io Italian Restaurant. We ordered the supreme pizza and it didn't disappoint. Very good thin crust pizza fired in a wood oven. Service was good, and they offered a free limoncello at the end of the meal, which was delicious. As most restaurants are in the area, it was a little on the expensive side.

We ate here and it was very good. A pizza was plenty for my husband and I to split for lunch. Very thin crust but lots of fresh vegetables. We also ordered the fresh fruit waters which I could have drank all day. Refreshing and not full of sugar.

This is a nice restaurant and I would recommend it if you get tired of rice and beans. The food and service were great. We had the wood-fired pizzas and grilled vegetables and they gave us complimentary Limoncello after dinner. The brownie desert was also good.
