Our first soda visit. Huge plates of tipico food at a great price. We had fruit milkshakes but people at next table looked like they were having beer. Friendly staff shake your hand and thank you for coming.

Checked out Soda Viquez for lunch. It was a pretty nice little spot. The food was good and a cool cat came to hang out with us while we had lunch.

Ate here upon arriving in La Fortuna late after a long drive from Liberia. My only regret is that I didn't eat all of my dinners here. The place is not large but well worth seeking out. The leche (milk) fruit drinks are super refreshing. My wife had the heart of palm salad and it was very good. I had... More

We went there based on what I read on TripAdvisor. The food was ok, nothing special. And I realized after that I was overcharged for my meal and also given less change back than the correct amount! I would not recommend this place to others :(

We ate there for lunch and it was delicious. My husband had the typical dish 'Casada' (meaning married, feminine form) and we were told that rice, beans & meat is a typical wedding meal - abundant & rich. I had the first soup on the menu and it tasted exactly like the Colombian Changua which was great. The free dessert... More

Lovely lunch, not very expensive and we got a little Rice pudding to finish it all. Vegetarian friendly, I had the vegetarian casado.

This was my second visit here, and I must say that this is one of my favorite restaurants in CR. Great Food and wonderful, friendly people. Will definitely come here again!

My wife and I both have variations of the Sea Bass, and it was amazing, not to mention very economical. They are very kid friendly, offer high chairs, and very nice service. It is maybe a half a block from the town square/park in La Fortuna. For the size of the restaurant the have an amazing selection of different foods... More

Just eat here. Everyone says you should. We did. It was really really good. The price was fair. We continued to talk about how good it was in the days since we ate here. Just go.

Service by Mary was outstanding. Each of us had a typical Costa Rican meal ("Casado") which came with black beans and rice, fried plantain, a green salad, cold potato or beet salad, a small helping of mashed potatoes, and a small portion of rice pudding for dessert.
