Cypress Inn is still the best place to dine with atmosphere, quality, price and service. Power outage is sometimes out of the hand of owners. This happened to us at Outback in Tuscaloosa as well. With daily thunderstorms, things can happen. Food as good as ever. A local resident of Tuscaloosa for 30+ years.

We ate here on 8/15/16 The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant is situated on the Black Warrior River and the scenery was beautiful and the restaurant had a great ambience. I would recommend this restaurant if you like seafood or any other food.

OMG! We starter with the crab claws (to die for!) Next was the apple salad! Fresh and delicious!!!! I had the smoked... More

I have eaten here several times over the years, but over the last 2 years the quality seems to have dropped. It's just ok...definitely more places in town with better food for your money.

Service wasn't good. It seems the restaurant isn't the place it once was. Not sure why, but waited on food for quite awhile and wasn't really that good. I couldn't help but be disappointed because a lot of memories at that place. Love the location and view of the water.

Enjoyable restaurant on the river. Really pretty location that has a little different cuisine. Love their homemade rolls and muffins.

I loved my dinner at Cypress Inn. I was on my own after a business trip and this was the perfect choice-beautiful river view, great food at very reasonable prices. I had a cup of gumbo and the chicken salad platter with fruit that was served with a basket of freshly baked breads and muffins. There was more food than... More

We love restaurants with a lovely view and this was our best pick in Tuscaloosa. Our waitress was very helpful, the view over the river with sundown perfect and the atmosphere welcoming. This is a great venue for special occasions and dinner with some one you want to spoil. The buffalo shrimp for a starter was great but for our... More

My wife and I had dinner here and it was fantastic. Tammy, our server provided some great suggestions and was really on point. The steak, fish and sides were terrific.
