Went to Cypress Inn in 1984 for graduation celebration. It is now under new management and great food and service. Large venue overlooking the water if you need to have a big party. On the patio bar with live music on weekends. Sunday Brunch.

We had not visited in many years but it was just as we remembered. Food was good, especially the shrimp & grits, fried green tomatoes and squash. Lovely view of the river.

The previous owners did not accept reservations except for large parties, but not sure what the policy is with the new owners. Best to call and double check.
