Last review from our trip, saved the worse for last. Really in the mood for pizza and we learned that Mobile does NOT have pizza like in Baltimore or Las Vegas. No small Mom and Pop locations, all chains. We decided to give this place a try. The family claimed to be from Philadelphia and all I can say about... More

Stopped by on way back from Alabama to Houston drive. Hole in the wall...but clean and a couple young guys cooking everything. Got Gyros and onion rings...kids got hot dog and grilled cheese. Best gyro ever and kids food looked great too...they ate it all. Even side of ranch dressing was home made...best ranch dressing ever. We will definitely be... More

Are you ready for some "up home" (Yankee) cookin'? This is a really 'neat' find in the Mobile (western) area...close to I-10 and the Greyhound track, this eatery features all the authentic great foods that made Philadelphia famous, from Philly Cheesesteak hoagies to Gyros to custom made pizzas to Boardwalk sausage sandwiches...and you can add salads, fries, wings, drinks, onion... A surprising find. Real Philadelphia Cheesesteaks. Best rolls, real cheese, real thinly sliced steak. A delicious find right off Interstate 10.

I frequent this place pretty regularly and it is good food and great service. The owner is an extremely friendly guy and takes pride in his restaurant. Try the "bomb", you won't be dissapointed!

Our family ate here...we had cheesesteaks (excellent), poboys (excellent), conecuh hot dog (excellent)...all were great quality and delicious. The atmosphere is quite stark and aged which for the faint of heart could scare them off. Stay strong and try it...it is worth it!!

The restaurant is in a strip mall surrounded by pawn shops and smoke shops and across from the racetrack. Take a chance and try it. You won't be disappointed in the food or the service. don't expect much from the decor however.
