We enjoyed our visit and the food...but, we sat outside on the deck and we didn't think about spiders coming out at night! Word of advice, just sit inside and enjoy the view from the window!!

We had researched and planned to go to another very popular restaurant on the Causeway but didn't want to spend 45 minutes waiting for a table. We were so happy we stopped in at Ed's Seafood Shed. We had a great experience and would go back again and again if we lived in the area. Our server (Jenna, I think)... More

We stopped by to have lunch with family members that were driving through Mobile on I-10. It seemed like the perfect place since it's on the bay as well as close to the interstate. It's definitely not a flashy place but despite a tired appearance it seemed reasonably clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. No problems with the service... More

We had a great meal at Ed's today! We wanted great southern cooking and that's exactly what we were served. Cool decor, super friendly wait staff and beautiful sunset views.

Perched up on pilings with a nice view of Mobile Bay and terrific sunsets. The food was good and the prices are reasonable. The decor matches the name of the place, so don't expect a fine dining atmosphere.

We loved our lunch at Ed's‼️. Gina was an excellent waitress and was extremely accommodating. Met the manager and he explained how their fish is locally caught to ensure freshness. Atmosphere, outdoor patio and view of an alligator was very entertaining. Will definitely stop here on the way to and from the beach from now on! Loved it!

I love me some Ed's. Right on the Bay, sit inside or outside. Complimentary Cole slaw is cold, creamy and delicious. Gumbo is a red sauce and full of shrimp. The roux s not as thick as I would make but is still very tasty. The shrimp and salad s a great light lunch favorite. The lightly battered shrimp in... More

Always good. One of our favorite places. Best seafood around and prices are good. We always eat here when we are in town. The staff are all very friendly and professional.
