We ate here on our recent fishing trip to Scottsboro. After all day on the lake we were looking for a place with good food. We really enjoyed it here! The waitresses were super friendly and food was served hot and fast! Try the shrimp and grits! Yum!

They seated us right away. We had the buffet and salad bar. The salad was fresh and crisp. The buffet was fresh and country style. They had fried green tomatoes that would melt in your mouth. A must stop !! Our waitress was amazing.

My wife and I made a trip to Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro. After an unfruitful shopping experience, we looked for a place to have lunch. Unfortunately, we decided on Carlile's. The owner (?), who was working the register, greeted us warmly and seated us. He told us they had a buffet and said that it was "fried Friday" and they... More

We were seated right away, and our orders were taken quickly. The chicken was so very good and very filling. No room for dessert, but. . . .they offered us a cupcake at the end of our meal so had to eat and enjoy that also. Plenty of room for seating, a few tvs, and a beautiful large hand made... More

I have been to Carlile's on several occasions. The restaurant is quite new, open and airy. For me, the buffet has been a bit of a disappointment, but menu items have been quite good. They have a "Carlile's Sanwich" that has BBQ, ham, and other meats on it and it is quite good. The wait staff have been nice and... More

I frequented this establishment twice during my 2-day stay in Scottsboro. The first day, the food had some good and bad points but overall pretty good. The second day, the food experience was much better. The Carlile Burger is massive and a bunch of messy deliciousness. Prices are good and service was great both days.

Had a great experience on our girls weekend getaway. The owner introduced himself to us and made sure were satisfied with our food and service. Our waitress was attentive, friendly and very helpful with what food to order since it was our first visit. The best onion rings I have ever had. Enjoyed the tomato pie but would've liked more... The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic. The owner came out and visited with us and we talked food and football and families. We will be back again. Super great place!!!!

Great food and service! I had fried green tomatoes with homemade ranch, homemade thousand island dressing on salad, pork and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. Owner was very friendly and waitress was awesome.

Great restaurant in Scottsboro. This place has been around for many years. They serve many great dishes, but the specialty is their tomato pie! Hard to beat!
