This is the most incredible dinner of my life. 20+ courses, each of them being paired with an incredible full 5 sens experience (odor, visual, tactile, kinetic, and of course wine) A once in a lifetime experience!

This was my second time to experience UV. The times have been different yet both a truly memorable experience. The food and experience really do leave you walking away satisfied despite the high price tag.

Well worth the wait.... It's not just about the food, which was magnificent, it was the whole experience of dining where all our senses are teased and heightened! The whole room changed with each and every course, the mood transformed to pair with what was...More

I've seen a lot. But this was just unique in it's best meaning. Food, style, creativity, service, experience. Avantgarde at it's best. Bravo Paul Pairet & Team

This place should be the only restaurant in the world with 6 Instagram points. You go there and you leave this planet, forget time and everything around you. Unfortunately I can't tell you anything in order not to spoil. But if you combine your ten...More

The dishes are outstanding. No doubt about that. The food alone is worth a trip to Shanghai. But add to that the sound, smell and the everchanging surroundings will put you in a different state of mind. It might sound very technical and theatrical that...More

No, they don't do anything special. The whole menu is special! You have absolutely no choice, it is a succession of more or less 12 plates of culinary art. When you pay one thousand dollar per person for a menu, you don't... More

No. Their dress code is "be yourself". While we were in top hats and tails, the guy opposite was wearing a Polo shirt. I think you could go as dressy or as un-dressy as you like.

Conceived by Paul Pairet for over 15 years and opened in May 2012, Ultraviolet is the first restaurant of its kind uniting food with multi-sensorial technologies in order to create a fully immersive dining experience. A single table of ten seats only. A dining room of high-end technology. A 20-course "Avant-Garde" set menu. All guests sit together. The experience unfolds as a play. Food leads. Each course is enhanced with its own taste-tailored atmosphere: lights, sounds, music, scents, projection, images and imagination... And food.
