Breakfast was included with our room and we were able to select from the buffet style and the menu for a hot breakfast. There was a large selection available for both western and asian tastes.

The breakfast offer is good, with fast service and all of the food on offer that you would expect in hotel of this standard. In the evening you can dine here as a cheaper alternative to Char (the alternative restaurant) where you will find a good choice of options.

Maybe the breakfast is good (we didn't try) and we agree the bar upstairs has amazing views but for dinner - the Quay for dinner was a let down. The food was only so-so, including the 'fried rice' was pretty much just cooked plain rice - not really fried and no flavor. They also forgot one of our orders. The... More

Semi breakfast buffet with hots to order. High quality food, very nice restaurant decoration, comfortable. Coffee great. Staff friendly and efficient. Great views of the bund. Afterwards hangout in the 'library', also on the 6th floor. Chill on a bean bag or massage chair with great views.

The breakfast is well sorted and the morning view amazing. Fresh juices all over and nice organic selection of fruit, yoghurt etc. You will be amazed by the quality and the friendly staff. Go and look for yourself!

Our family had several meals here while staying at Hotel Indigo. The foud and service were good and my single complaint would be slow service. The breakfasts were quite good with an interesting selection of both buffet and made to order items. The dinner service tended to be slow. The view is amazing.

Staying in South Bund

Neighborhood Profile
South Bund
This waterfront area below the most famous section of the Huangpu River has undergone multiple phases of development that started when the Waterhouse Hotel opened its doors. Though it’s been slower to catch on than people expected, every year something new and exciting opens up and gives people a reason to keep calling the South Bund the "Next Big Thing." There are a couple of landmark hotels and restaurants of excellent quality that serve as anchors, and multiple annual events such as beer festivals, art and fashion fairs and music shows take advantage of the wide spaces, waterfront location and the tiny man-made beach to host huge crowds of people. Wandering about the newness, one can stumble upon authentic Chinese life in the stone gates of people’s residences or the street markets.
