Look no further for high class restaurant. This is THE number ONE GREAT place for food, drinks and entertainment. Exceptional service and stunning view looking over the Huangpu River. Best of the best place to impress your friends, family members and your BOSS.

Firstly, this place has no michelin star so tripadvisor is mistaken This is a multi storey building and indeed used by THE Roosevelt family as an office, private club, restaurant and rooftop bar The restaurant is average and i wrote a seperate review. So is the bar Good views though

This restaurant is a "private club" that it´s also open to public in some areas. Is top cuisine and the service, menu, enviroment and view are really excellent... but prepare your wallet because the price is also very exclusive.

Absolutely terrible experience🤮🤮🤮 All the waitstaff were polite and nice, but the Chinese owner of this venue was incredibly rude and arrogant. He acted as if he were super important and owned this venue all to himself despite having no direct connection to the Roosevelt family. While intoxicated, he made rude comments to our male friends and behaved really weirdly around our female friends, making everyone uncomfortable. The only positive aspect of this place is its location. However, there are plenty of better spots on the Bund for foreigners to enjoy drinks without this kind of bad attitude and overpriced menu. The food and drinks here were overpriced and, overall, not as competitive as other fine dining options nearby. This place likely survives solely due to the Roosevelt name, but the management here sucks. Highly do not recommend!

We went here for evening drinks and to watch the lights across the River. The views are still exceptional, but I can’t say that about the feel of the place. We had drinks, but the waiter never paid attention and got it wrong, then my Coke was warm???? And had to ask for ice! We had finger snacks, but they were cold and not great, not well presented. I may go back for the view, but nothing else. Feels a bit run- down.

Visit the Sky Bar on the rooftop for a great view of Shanghai City Skyline and The Bund. The waitresses there provided excellent service and they can all take amazing pictures for your IG posts! Such patience... Food is of great quality too. The only thing that might need a bit of improving would be the sofas and overall deco, could do with a bit of reno & touching up.

Had drinks here recently and loved it, great choice of cocktails and spectacular views. You just have to go here and marvel at the views.

This review is for view and drinks from the rooftop. Did not order food. View was fantastic, didn't pay up for reserved tables. Drinks were good, priced right for the awesome view of Shanghai and the Bund.

This was my favorite of the rooftop bars in Shanghai. The lift goes to level 8 and you walk up one flight to level 9, which is the rooftop. It is open air with no roof. The seats up the front are 2000¥ a table which goes toward food and drink. Or the seats behind which is what I had was free but you need to buy something there. A bottle of TsingTao cost me 80¥. Great views of the modern side of the bund!!

Shanghai has some outstanding restaurants but those in the House of Roosevelt should be avoided. I ate at the one on Level 2 last August and whilst the fit out was amazing and service good, the food was terrible - especially the ‘Italian pasta quartet’. I visited again last night. The level two restaurant is closed as part of a renovation, so we went to The Roosevelt Club in the old boardroom on Level 3. My companions ordered lobster bisque (excellent by the way) for starters and the Italian pasta quartet for main. I just ordered the pasta main. All dishes arrived together! My pasta was EXACTLY as bad as it was last August - so much so that my companions cancelled theirs and I sent mine back. It was lukewarm, the spaghetti was swimming in oil and too salty to eat. The carbonara was a lukewarm congealed mess. The pesto quartet might have been OK except for the use of the largest rigatoni I’ve ever seen. The remaining tomato based pappardelle was an equally ridiculous choice of pasta given the size of the serve plus the sauce was straight from a (cheap) bottle. At approx AUD 55 this dish is robbery.

Had a dinner with friends, no signs and who doesn't know difficult to find, as a part of building is under construction at the moment. When you go inside - You find yourself in a very cozy classic room with candles and a fireplace. Not the most extensive menu, but there is a choice for every taste and everything is very tasty. Very quiet and fashionable easy to lead the conversation. The view is epic... Then you can go upstairs and there us a bar (not so fashionable), But with access to the roof, where you can enjoy views of the city... Amazing place to go!

Walked in for dinner at the House of Roosevelton on the last day of our trip in Shanghai. One of the wait gents reached us with a warm welcoming greeting. He also expressed his term in a not literal way that we were lucky to get that table near the huge glass wall on the day, without advance reservation. We then realized that he was absolutely correct. The view of Shanghai from the other side of the river bank is spectacular! The people of the restaurant are greatly attentive. Thanks for the wonderful service and friendly welcome to me and my friend last week. Advance booking is recommended!

Went for drinks on the roof before dinner and the view is stunning. Later dined in the Presidents Room on the 3rd floor and was blown away by the experience. The atmosphere of the room was incredible, the food was spectacular, the service impeccable and nothing beats the view. Strongly recommend!

We went here to get a bite and a few drinks and never got any service. The waiter eventually came and literally threw the menus at us and when we were ready to order, twice we tried to wave them down and no one came. I don't think we will ever come back. Great view but the service just ruins the mood. I would rather walk on the bund bridge.
