Yang's Dumplings is a mid-sized restaurant located not too far away from the city center in Shanghai, and despite its clean and modern facilities, the prices of the food items here are still very affordable by any standard. They serve dumplings, which are the star dish but also other offerings such as noodles. We got a mix of the pork... More

These dumplings are so delicious!! The juicy contents with the crunchy bottom is perfect. We ate at a few of the restaurants, as it is a chain restaurant, and on our last day had to have them twice as we knew we couldn't get them at home. I ate the shrimp ones (I don't eat pork) and they are so... More

We were lost and we stumbled upon this place. The food was relatively cheap and good too! There was a queue but that only meant that we were at a good restaurant. Will come again if we can remember where it is!

This was recommended to us by a local taxi driver who took us to the Bund. I especially liked the broth within the original 生煎包. It was just right. In fact I'm still thinking of the 生煎包 as I write this. My wife liked the prawn ones as well although I cant quite comment on that since I dont take... More

Not sure what the big deal is. Even my wife's Shanghaiese friends said the food isn't that great since they became a chain.

Nice food at a very reasonable price. Their specialty fried dumplings are nice, although rather heavy and doughy compared with the Dintaifung steamed dumpling chain.

It was just as well Yang's was located opposite the equally famous Jia Jia Tangbao, allowing us to visit both during our very short transit in Shanghai. I was there at around 8.30 am on a Saturday morning, and it would seem this was not a peak period, hence the availability of seating. With seating both downstairs and upstairs, it... More

The ordering system is a little bit hard to figure out, but locals (and other tourists) were helpful steering us in the right direction. The dumplings are just perfection. I could have eaten there every day of our trip and never gotten tired of them. Go early and often on your trip to Shanghai!

Great food and very good price! Very fast serving! Always coming back for more dumplings when I am in town. Easy to order food for non-chinese too! A bit to many tourists though
