I popped into this restaurant couple of weeks ago to celebrate the birthday of my best friend. Nice and polished interiors, elegant french style. The food is superb as well as the service. The tuna sauce they bring at the beginning of the meals is just great ! From the bread to the dessert is an amazing experience , moreover... More

My Husband and I visited this restaurant recently and we loved it! The food is spectacular and the service is amazing, but the best thing without any doubt is the view, it is out of this world! They were very accommodating when we arrived two hours earlier than our reservation and managed to give us a great table at that... More

My wife and I have enjoyed M & M Bund a half dozen times and have never been disappointed in any way. The food, the service, the atmosphere and the drinks are all perfect. The set menu is a good way to start if its your first visit, you can always expand into their ala carte offerings as well. Trolly... More

Atmosphere and setting is great. Food however is just okay for me. Still, a good place to bring visiting friends for a nice dinner and drinks with a view of the Bund on the terrace.

We went for dinner to this famous spot in Shanghai. They didn't have our reservation. The oysters were fantastic, the rest of the food tasted good, certainly not excellent. They were suggested to have a Michelin star if the guide were in China - I doubt it. Most obvious, I had to spent 20 minutes on the toilet with serious... More

When I'm in Shanghai, I make it a point to visit MMB every time. Wonderful place for special occasions. Tried many dishes on the menu. Everything was great! MMB does not disappoint! Terrific view of the Pearl Tower. Great atmosphere and great place to go to relax and enjoy a culinary delight!!!

Top end Bund restuarant. Lovely interior and good food and a wine list with more than the usual on at fair prices (for the Bund)! Not an everyday trip but for a treat.

An evening there has been my surprise for my husband birthday. I've asked from Italy one month before the best table, ordered our dinner and everything went perfectly! Great service and pleasant staff, great food and amazing atmosphere, music selection and a terrific Shanghai skyline view. Thank you Mr & Mrs, we will surely come back

All round close to perfect - staff are casual and cool, food is perfect, good music, great terrace, feels like fine dining in a very cool bar. Not too expensive, fantastic view of the bund - bar rouge 1 floor up is also worth a visit for after dinner dancing.

Description
Mr & Mrs Bund – Modern Eatery by Paul Pairet. A modern French eatery. Relaxed chic atmosphere, heritage Bund location.Mr & Mrs Bund is French, in the manner of Chef Paul Pairet: born, traveled, and globally stamped. Contemporary, but not stuffy. Relaxed, without sacrificing an ounce of chic. We serve populist French favorites, through Pairet's looking glass. Service is family-style, recast for a modern table, and the wine list includes 32 wines by the glass. We riff on classics, we dish up comfort cuisine, and we serve it just like you would Sunday night dinner – sharing-style, and with plenty for seconds. It's a straightforward menu that takes simple French classics to start, and then let you add and play. Mash-ups: not just for potatoes and DJs anymore. Staying in The Bund

Neighborhood Profile
The Bund
While there are certainly many other “bunds” in the world, “the Bund” refers to Shanghai’s famous waterfront. The area’s Gothic, Art Deco and Beaux Arts monoliths were built when it was part of the Shanghai International Settlement run by the British and Americans. The atmosphere of colonial-era luxury has endured over time and is now found in the five-star hotels, luxury brand boutiques and expensive restaurants that can be found within the historic buildings. A cultural center has built up away from the water and some of Shanghai’s best art galleries and museums are housed close to the Bund. Nighttime views of Pudong and the rest of the city also make for a great backdrop at the many rooftop clubs.
