As a group of 4 couples we enjoyed a great night at Baka Blues. The food was ok, but some meals left a bit to be desired. The entertainment was 1st class?

Thank you for your review Paddy, our team are very happy that you all had a great night out! With reference to our food, "left a bit to be desired", I felt was unfair, as a blanket statement like that, does not settle well for any business. It would have been helpful if you were a little more specific, so... More

We had some of the best squid I have ever eaten. My husband had the Malibu chicken and I had enchilada soup. All were really good.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review Strahbary. Your title brought a smile to my face! Your husband would have ordered our Monterey Chicken which is very popular in our establishment and our wholesome enchilada soup, is also very popular. We had read reviews on this great venue so added it to our Fiji bucket list. We were not disappointed. A couple of cold beers and a delicious snack midway through our afternoon walk. Had the privilege of meeting Phoenix and her family. A wonderful interlude thank you.

Thank you for your review Sarah, it was lovely to meet you and Phoenix certainly enjoyed her visit to Baka Blues and meeting you. She doesn't often come to the restaurant so it was a real treat for her, plus an extra treat of ice-cream and waffles. So glad that your interlude with us was enjoyed. Thank you for your... More

My family and I stayed at the Pearl resort and grew quickly tired of the menu there. While we visited the art village, we saw Baka Blues and the trip advisor rating and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Wow! We definitely did not expect awesome food like this in Fiji. The ribs were delicious, and... More

At Pacific Harbour you are secluded to find a Blues cafe that has live music twice a week was great.....The players might be aged but the music was great

Thank you for your taking the time to write your review Phxxius. In the past we have had live music on Wed/Fri/Sun from 7:00pm. Because of the popularity of live music we now have the old timers, Robert (Vocals & Guitar) and Ben (Drums) play Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun from 7:00pm. We ate lunch here twice, nice clean cafe with great music. Staff are friendly, the meals have a southern twist and are a large and tasty. Keep an eye out for Captain Jack when you visit

Thank you for your review Ivyglum. You made me smile when you mentioned Captain Jack our resident cat...he is a good, friendly, polite cat who once belonged to our daughter, Tandra. From a food perspective Baka Blues Cafe is as good as you'll get in Pacific Harbour. There us a reasonable selection and all quite tasty. The vibe changes around the NZ Rugby League televised games, from a groovy upbeat restaurant to a rowdy sports bar, those regulars at the bar just drinking clearly take precedence and so they should however... Thank you for taking the time to write your review, Crandy. I was pleased that you enjoyed our tasty food in our groovy upbeat restaurant, but it is too bad about the rowdy sports bar part. We are a crazy rugby nation and the sound level does get out of hand on occasion, but not as often as you'd think,... More

Go on a music night and combine good food and blues with a sympathetic decor and just have a good time. I've been going here regularly since it opened and the pork ribs are compulsory.
