We dined with our family. The pork ribs are delicious and a must try. If you exchange you half board credit from the buffet you can eat any main meal from the restaurant so why don't have the full pork ribs and then you can...at least share some with envious family members :-)More
We ate here one night a a large family and were disappointed when compared with other options on the island. Food was good, but not always what one expected. One example was the cheese platter. A large plate with just the one cheddar cheese (in...spite of menu mentioning several cheeses). When queried the response was "You want more than one cheese?" with total incredulity. They took it away and it came back with a couple of slices of Camembert added. It is also more expensive than the other options, but it didn't live up to the difference. We decided not come back for the rest of our stay. We were disappointed and decided to go elsewhere for the, rest of our stay.More
Luckily we were staying at Lomani instead but if you love screaming kids, average food which luckily is cheap you have found the place. Favoured by the mid-range budgeters this is very hit and miss, mostly miss.
We went here twice, the scotch fillet was to die for. The outdoor setting is very pretty and it has a lovely children's playground that kept the kids occupied. On our last night the staff sang to us which was so lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed our...meals here.More
Black Coral is an amazing feast for the eyes and stomach. Exec Chef Amesh and his team work hard to deliver superb quality meals at an affordable price point. We loved eating here as it was a much nicer atmosphere than the buffet. I read that it was hard to get in to this restaurant so I emailed my requests prior to arrival and sure enough we were booked in as requested. Staff were...so friendly and seemed to enjoy chatting to us each night. As per other reviews the ribs are amazing. Food could be slow coming out but Fiji time no worry no hurry.More
Food and service was exceptional we were extremely impressed. Went with the family including 3 kids aged between 1 and 7, they also thoroughly enjoyed the food.
Nice relaxed atmosphere. Meals suited to all the family, the fish of the day was perfect, great flavour and texture.
