This place needs be to be revamped and changes made to the menus both bar and restaurant.. The food seriously needs to improve on its quality and variety. Also having traditional food in house would be nice as your coming to experience Fiji, traditional Fijian...Lovo, fried fish in cabbage, BBQ, Ota, Puri, Dhal, pea and potato curry etc. The restaurant and bar needs some TLC as it sets the scenery, stunning view of the ocean front and this should be utilised.More

During our 7 days at Plantation island we mostly ate here. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were great. The staff were excellent. The quality of the lunch food could be improved.

Different theme every night, price is not too bad considering it’s all you can eat and the food is yum. I was worried seeing all the bad reviews but it’s really nice I didn’t have a bad meal at dinner and we ate there 4...nights out of 5. However it floods when it rains and the floors and tables can be a bit grubby, please clean the high chairs every day with disinfectant they are disgusting.More

We purchased the full board meal plan and soon realised we were being ripped off. Food is comparable to what you get served at school camp and service is awful. Food is recycled and you will see the same batch of rock hard muffins all...week. Meat not cooked properly, would definitely be wary of hygiene standards.More

Food was ok but the meal was grossly over priced. Price didn’t match the standard of the meals sadly. Lunch menu was more reasonable price and was nice. Very noisy at dinner time.

We Loved Breakfast here every morning we stayed on the island. Loved the egg station and I even learnt how to make really good poached eggs!!! Dinner we only ate here twice for due to it being buffet and kids only having chicken nuggets and...chips to eat really on both of the nights we ate. Kids buffet could have a few more things that most kids eat like veges or fish fingers etc. The Buffet dinners do need to be topped up more often as there were things on the Mexican night we didn't get to have as there was none left and we ate at 7pm after kids could go watch the movie in kids club. This was our last night and were looking forward to Mexican although we didn't get any nachos to try. There were also kids standing around eating the adults desert so when it was time for us to have some we had to stand around and wait for it to be topped up. Please note though we had a awesome time here and will be back in 2 years !!!More

The menu is varied every day with a different theme for each evening meal. The staff are very friendly and interactive with guests. The breakfast menu catered for gluten free, paleo and vegetarian options.

Breakfast was good here. Dinners sometimes hit and miss. We did the mongolian night, Mexican night and new years eve jungle theme. The Mexican was average. Mongolian yummy but raw meat on the Buffett freaked me out a bit for hygiene reasons. It was pretty...yummy though. New years eve was excellent. But so it should have been as it was an additional 140 per couple on top of our half board payment. Cocktails in happy hour wouldn't make you happy if u wanted to take the edge off. Perhaps should be called mocktail happy hour. But dining on the waterfront with toes in the sand is beautifulMore
