Stopped here on way back to birmingham from coosa river and words cannot express what an amazing experience we had- the owner is over the top friendly and let us try several samples to make sure we ordered the right dinner. He checked in on us personally and made it such a nice experience. Best cajun food I've had in... More

So the food was excellen, but what moved it up to 5 was the friendly service and the samples. They have all the usual cajun dishes, but they had several I had never heard of, and they were quick to offer suggestions and hand out samples. One was a pork shoulder in a cream sauce, and the other was a... More

I stopped for a late lunch while traveling . The service was excellent. Samples are given if you are unsure of what to eat. I opted for a half n half. Excellent.

Our whole family eats there occasionally and we love the food & the whole vibe of the place. The menu never changes and Uncle Mick will serve you himself along with his friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We eat there as often as possible! Go there for authentic Cajun. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great and the whole experience of downtown Prattville is a great Southern feel.

Good food, good atmosphere. Lots of selections and they let you taste first. My carnivore husband enjoyed the Grilled Tilapia and Seafood Gumbo while I, as a vegetarian had to stick to several sides to make up my meal; no worries, I get it; it's a Cajun restaurant and I don't expect them to have salads and lots of colorful... OMG, where do I start...This place is AMAZING! I haven't had Cajun this good since I visited the Lousiana Bayou! You must try the Shrimp a la Creme! What! I had it with white rice, black eye peas which are seasoned perfectly and corn bread. Talk about good eats! My co-worker had the seafood gumbo and he said it was... More

We ate there Sat eve and the food was delicious. They provide great samples if your unsure of what to order. They do an excellent overall job and a hidden jewel in a small town. Will be back in the near future.

Way better than I expected. This place is amazing! Everything I tried was very tasty. My favorite was the shrimp dish. Owner was very nice and let us sample anything we wanted. My only regret was not saving room for dessert. Location was amazing. We had a great time walking thru town seeing the sights. So glad we found this... More
