Destination dinner every year when in Pt. Clear, Fairhope. Staff courteous and attentive without being intrusive. No particular menu recommendations as have had different enrtres' over the years and never have been disappointed. Like the rustic atmosphere. Only drawback is parking but definitely recommend as a dining destination.

We had quite the group for my father's 100th birthday celebration, held at the Wash House. The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing. The appetizers (ordered in multiples for the table) arrived piping hot and perfectly executed. The main course was both well-plated and flavorful. The wine list, spot on and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was enchanting as we were... More

So good! Specialty drinks were a delight and so was the Shrimp Stack appetizer. Filet was cooked just right. Lamb chops perfect and tuna excellent! Awww... No room for dessert☹️. Waitress was so helpful and there when we needed her.

We don't visit the Grand Hotel without eating one night at the Wash House. Some local folks told us about it several years ago, and they were absolutely spot on. Wonderful selections, great mixed drinks, fabulous atmosphere, quiet and understatedly elegant.

What a refreshing visit to The Wash House! Our server was great and so was the food. I had the scallops and my wife had the blacken red snapper. Both were excellent!

OMG, this place is worth the drive from Daphne where we were having a 4-day business. They are known for their steaks which most people had & everyone agreed was more than true. I had the BEST grilled tuna I have ever eaten!! Everyone moaned through dinner. LOL. This place is a MUST whenever you're in the area.

The Wash House looks like a dive, but looks are deceiving! It has a full menu of choices and a very nice wine menu. My lamb chops were awesome- cooked to perfection rubbed in fresh rosemary. The steak was excellent served with asparagus and string French fries. I will return!!

Mainly locals who enjoy an upscale meal with a laid back ambiance. Food was great , service good in a very friendly room. During the summer reservations are necessary

Good steaks, shrimp and grits also good. I had blackened red snapper which was excellent. Quinton was our server and he took great care of us.
