Master Joes is by far the best sushi sushimi restaurant in Orange Beach. The master sushi chef is extremely creative and his specialty rolls are one of a kind. Plenty of room for a large party.

We are sushi lovers and often there's a disparity in quality at restaurants. Master Joe's has the good stuff! We wondered why it wasn't busier because the food is great and the service was too. Micheal was our very attentive server and really helpful in...choosing our rolls. We told him what we like and he made good suggestions. We ordered a Titanic Roll, $13.95, shrimp tempura and cucumber, crab meat, shrimp and avocado; a Vista Roll, $14.95, spicy yellowtail, white tuna and avocado. This roll had delightful bits of lemon in it. Also ordered a Fuji Yama Roll, $16.95, spicy tuna and tempura. All three rolls were top of the line in flavor and attractiveness. We have learned the hard way not to order the cheaper lunch specials, like 2 for $10, etc. Pay more and get the quality sushi!! We plan to go back to Master Joe's.More

We've gone to Master Joe's more than 10 times and never been disappointed - but disclosure - although this is a restaurant, we always sit at the Sushi Bar and eat raw fish. We can't tell you about the cooked food because cooking fish is...against a dolphin's religion! Just sit at the sushi bar, watch the sushi chef perform his artistry on tasty morsels from a wide selection of fish and shell fish. Drink saki eat sake and when you've had too much, switch to the Green Tea for health and longevity.More

This is the only restaurant in Orange Beach that specializes in sushi. It is not an add on item to the menu. When you first see the restaurant it is an older wooden building next to a hardware store on a back road of Orange...Beach. Inside it is dark and dingy looking. But Master Joe makes some of the best sushi and rolls I have tasted and plates them in a very attractive way. I loved the food but as the decor left me wishing for more, I will do take out next time.More

On a recent trip to the gulf, we decided to try this place. This place doesn’t look like much on the outside but don’t be fooled. Once inside, we noticed that the menu, especially sushi, is extensive. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive and...offered great suggestions. We each ordered a different roll and were in agreement that it was some of the best sushi we had ever had! I ordered the Bama roll and my husband ordered the Titanic. Both outstanding! Service was great, and the food came out quickly. We will definitively return in the future!More

A member of our family was craving sushi one night, so we went to Trip Advisor looking for an appropriate restaurant nearby. Master Joe’s made the list with good reviews and was in a reasonable distance from our condo in Perdido Key. When we arrived,...I admit I was immediately skeptical of what the quality of our meal was going to be. The parking lot was nearly empty (6PM) and honestly the place looked deserted. Once inside, there appeared to be only one other family. The restaurant was clean and very good sized inside. Our server sat us at our table and promptly took drink orders. He was very friendly and personable, and offered sushi suggestions based on what type of fish each person preferred. We placed our orders. The hibachi meal came out first, followed swiftly by the sushi rolls. Each roll of sushi was well made and packed together nicely, not falling apart or coming undone. The quality of the sushi was fantastic, tasted great, and was presented well. Highly recommend! Would definitely eat here again, and frequently if we lived in the area!More

We love the convenience having a sushi bar close to home. We are always impressed. You might wait a tad bit longer because the sushi chef continues to individualize each order. He does a great job with quality and quality and presentation. I would highly...recommend Master Joes to anyone PS. They have expanded their menu. We have not tried it yet but it’s a Cajun-style menu. Looks good!More

We stopped by Master Joes for Sushi and shared the 3 roll lunch! Very good food and service! A little on the pricy side but worth the quick service and great food! We will be back!

This previously was another restaurant, it failed. Seems this one is headed the same direction. Limited choices, standard food. Phone rings & rings. Annoying when you want to have a conversation.

We had 16 friends go to Master Joe’s in Orange Beach to celebrate a friends birthday. We had called ahead and were seated immediately as we arrived right as the restaurant opened. The wine and beer options are very limited. The sushi menus are extensive...and everyone enjoyed the sushi very much. I had the shrimp tempura platter and it was good and my husband had the sake glazed salmon and enjoyed that.More
