Nice place to bring a family. Food is pricey for what you get. Drinks pricey too. You are paying for the view. Its a fun place especially for kids.

The Gulf has AMAZING views. Really neat atmosphere. Burger was also very good. Prices are a tad high but you pay for the atmosphere. I could sit and watch the boats going in and out of the pass all day long.

My 10 year old wanted to check out The Gulf. Great place to grab a bite to eat. The view of the water was nice! We had burgers and the grouper sandwich-all were very tasty!

There was no wait but parking can be a problem. Salad was fresh and delicious. Had the shrimp and grits and it was fantastic! Servers were prompt and very nice. Take a flashlight in case you have to use the understreet parking lot next door....More

I must admit this isn't only restaurant I've ever been to that is built out of shipping containers ! That said the view is great , selections are extensive , and a good wine selection for a qsr style restaurant. You choose what type of...More

My children love The Gulf. Child approval doesn't always mean parent approval. My mind conjures images from my childhood of happy children playing at Chuck E. Cheese's while a desperate, miserable father sits in a lonely corner chugging pitchers of beer and watching the money...More

We visited on a rainy day so maybe didn't get the full experience, however we still had a great time. There is no indoor seating but the covered patio provided just enough seating out of the rain to make us happy. Food was delish!!!! Laid...More

Wonderful fish tacos coupled with great scenery and music. Grab a snack and sit and watch the boat come and go while the sun tans your skin and a beer cools you down. This was a wonderful find on our last day which happened to...More

Went into The Gulf for the first time to meet some family who happened to be staying in Orange Beach same time that we were. We frequent Orange beach but had never been to The Gulf. I walked in and told the Bartender to "surprise...More

Since it is walk up counter service, its hard to tell. Saturday's are very popular. The wait in line could be quite long. If you go on Saturday, try to go as early as you can, after 6 pm, it may be crowded Regardless... More

I'm sure they do. But you may want to call.
We will be staying at Turquoise Place (just down the beach) and I'm wondering if we could walk on the beach and get to The Gulf? Or will we need to drive?

Hi, It would be a 1.1mile walk. It certainly could be done, but would be a 22 minute walk!
