We picked this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews. So glad we came here. It's in a nice area right on the marina. We were able to make reservations here, so no wait. We waited awhile after being seated for our waitress. She got off to a rough start, didn't explain clearly, ect., but recovered and should receive a good... More

We were cooking class of service and I for a place to have dinner on our last night of vacation in the Gulf Shores area and found this place on TripAdvisor. We got there around 7:30 in the evening and it was very busy but fortunately they had a table available for five. The menus had many options but we... More

The atmosphere was festive and the view was lovely over the marina. This is a dressier restaurant but still comfortable and shorts are fine to wear. I had blackened scallops. They were very good and the creole potato was outstanding. More pricier than other casual restaurants in the area but definitely worth it. Outdoor seating available and a nice bar... More

Wonderful crab salad entree with delicious crispy hush puppies brought to the table instead of bread. Another entree to order is the grouper en papillote which has been a special for years off the menu and is absolutely delicious. Great gin and tonics too.

Some of the best food we have had in OB. We enjoyed the beautiful view, plus the beignets, which come with the meal, were tasty. Their crab cakes are top notch, and the eggplant New Orleans is is a work of art. Their sauces and flavors are top notch, we eat here every time we visit the area.

If you are in Orange Beach, go here for sure. They now have a winter time menu which includes dinner for two and a bottle of wine for $49. We got a more expensive bottle of wine for an additional $5. My wife had the shrimp and crab meat au gratin, and she loved it. I had the Grouper Menieure... More

My family has been dining at Louisiana Lagniappe since its first location opened in Destin Fl. in the mid 1980's. The former owner and chef learned his trade very well in Louisiana before moving to Florida. The restaurant has maintained outstanding food, service and ambiance for 3+ decades.

Thank Volman65

In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.
