Great food with good service. This is not my typical restaurant but it's nice to go to every once in awhile.

Our server Sherri was amazing! From the speciality king cake martini to the appetizers to our entrees everything was amazing! Our view was fantastic and the restaurant was intimate.

The overall experience is a good solid 4.5/5.0. The atmosphere is very nice, (good marina views) the staff is very friendly (greeted promptly by nice hostess, wonderful server Mathew) and the food was very good. Nice wine list and cold beers to start, and they bring you out fresh hushpuppies as your table "bread". The seafood tasted very fresh -... More

I cannot think of a single improvement!! Starting with the King Cake Martini and hush puppies, moving to the soft shell crab entree, and finishing with the bread pudding, everything was delicious! Our server was helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was a bit upscale but still beachy enough for nice shorts -- guys and girls. Prices are a bit... More

i had lunch at Louisiana Lagniappe with some friends. They would not take reservations and when we arrived with our group of 10, we had a 30 minute wait. There was an entire section of the dining room not being used, but we were told it was difficult to hire and retain wait staff and they were unable to operate... More

While on vacation, my daughter and I went here to celebrate her birthday. The food was wonderful and so was the service. The oysters lagniappe were delicious and so were the shrimp and grits. We will definitely make this a yearly vacation tradition.

Great experience. A bit of a long wait. But it was well worth it. Great staff and service. Will always come back for the Grouper.

This wasn't what we expected of a Louisiana style restaurant. Not good at all. First of all, it is nice - white table clothes and high back wooden chairs. Big bar. The best thing is that it sits somewhat on the water. But the food was just plain bad. I had the grouper pecan -- I first asked if it... More

I always look forward to eating at this restaurant every time we come to Orange Beach. I always order the special which is grouper with a crab and shrimp stuffing baked in parchment paper. The flavor is savory and delightful. I love the Mardi Gras shrimp as a starter. The crab claws are also very good. We have had several... More

In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.
