Great experience. A bit of a long wait. But it was well worth it. Great staff and service. Will always come back for the Grouper.

This wasn't what we expected of a Louisiana style restaurant. Not good at all. First of all, it is nice - white table clothes and high back wooden chairs. Big bar. The best thing is that it sits somewhat on the water. But the food was just plain bad. I had the grouper pecan -- I first asked if it... More

I always look forward to eating at this restaurant every time we come to Orange Beach. I always order the special which is grouper with a crab and shrimp stuffing baked in parchment paper. The flavor is savory and delightful. I love the Mardi Gras shrimp as a starter. The crab claws are also very good. We have had several... More

The location is great, but the food is better! I was concerned about all the sauces on the menu being too heavy, but they balanced wonderfully with the seafood. The barbecued shrimp were very flavorful without being too heavy. The house salad was refreshing. The twice baked potato was nothing like the wallpaper paste these things so often resemble. Desserts... More

Great variety on the menu. Friendly staff and good food. The seafood gumbo isn't authentic but still good. Great overall choice for large parties.

All of our entrees were very good and nicely portioned. The Mardi gras shrimp appetizer was very good and had plenty of shrimp. The building was very nice with a nice view of the marina. Our server, Laura was an absolute pro that was spot on with her food descriptions and timing. I have had the Shrimp & Grits, then... More

Service is good, but be prepared for the menu prices. Bbq shrimp were good not very spicy to me. Cajun baked potato is very rich.

They have great scallops, crab cakes and steaks. We eat here when we are dressed up a bit. We love the decor, the atmosphere, and the service is top notch. We also like the try to sit you at a great table with a view if they can.

Description
In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.
