This resturant never fails to impress. The blackened scollops in pineapple butter rum sauce are to die for. A generous portion that could be an entree paired with a side salad. Bayou grouper and blackened shrimp were excellent. Our go to place when in Orange Beach or Destin.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere is very classy. We tried some appetizers and drinks had other plans for dinner. We will definitely go back and try the entrees.

We had an excellent waiter, Matt. He knew the menu made good suggestions and was friendly and made the dining experience enjoyable. The meal was very good we enjoyed everything although it was rich and we were mighty full at the end. We will return to this restaurant when we are back at the beach. It is on the noisy... More

Amazing food. We came in hot and tired after a baseball game and came out full and happy. There is not a single thing I tasted that I did not like. I had the crab bisque and the Seafood Lagniappe. Both were awesome. Things I also tasted and loved: stuffed shrimp, shrimp and grits, creme brûlée, bread pudding, and chocolate... More

My husband had wanted to try this place after reading the reviews and we wanted to try some place new. Arrived right as they opened. We were seated immediately at a table overlooking the marina. We enjoyed watching the charter boats come in. The hush puppies were great with our cocktails. The salad is a house salad with house style... More

I was on a business trip and needed a good restaurant that could accommodate a party of 12. I looked on Trip Advisor scoured menues that would work. Louisiana Lagniappe was our choice and we couldnt have been happier. I called the restaurant and while many places in Orange beach dont take reservations, these folks did. I had called other... We got there not long after they opened and were seated pretty quickly. I loved the decor of the place. It's a nicer place to eat and pretty expensive but the food was totally worth it! By far the BEST place we ate in orange beach! We had seven kids with us ranging from a year old to 8. The... More

My wife choose this restaurant after reading the reviews. The food is phenomenal. The service is even better. The view of the cove is nice. The meals are big. The salad and hush puppies are very good. I will definitely be back.

Called ahead for a table. We were told 35 mins after we got here and waited over an hour after we checked in. I asked how long at one point and was told "I have no idea". Please. The food is good but no where worth the price. Skip it and go to Fishers. Better food and better service.

Description
In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.
