Overall very nice dinner. Upscale accommodations. Very friendly staff. The grouper was excellent. The gumbo was average.

We visited Louisiana Lagniappe because we had a gift certificate, and we are glad we did. The service was excellent, our drinks were quite good, and the food was exceptional. We had blackened grouper with lobster and crab on top, and it was perfect...not too spicy, but very flavorful. My husband had the bisque as well, and he thought it... More

I had never been to this restaurant before so decided to try it based on recommendations from friends. It was wonderful from the service to the food. Great atmosphere also. I ordered an appetizer and a main dish and it was more than I could eat. Would definitely recommend eating here when you are in Orange Beach.

We tried this restaurant during a girls' getaway to Orange Beach. One of our group had eaten there before and said it was the best place in Orange Beach for seafood. (Worth noting that she lives in New Orleans so we figured she knew what she was talking about) Needless to say, we were not disappointed. The food was wonderful!... More

We picked this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews. So glad we came here. It's in a nice area right on the marina. We were able to make reservations here, so no wait. We waited awhile after being seated for our waitress. She got off to a rough start, didn't explain clearly, ect., but recovered and should receive a good... More

We were cooking class of service and I for a place to have dinner on our last night of vacation in the Gulf Shores area and found this place on TripAdvisor. We got there around 7:30 in the evening and it was very busy but fortunately they had a table available for five. The menus had many options but we... More

The atmosphere was festive and the view was lovely over the marina. This is a dressier restaurant but still comfortable and shorts are fine to wear. I had blackened scallops. They were very good and the creole potato was outstanding. More pricier than other casual restaurants in the area but definitely worth it. Outdoor seating available and a nice bar... More

Wonderful crab salad entree with delicious crispy hush puppies brought to the table instead of bread. Another entree to order is the grouper en papillote which has been a special for years off the menu and is absolutely delicious. Great gin and tonics too.

Thank Lynne N

In 1984, Louisiana Lagniappe was opened and established inside Sandpiper Cove condominiums in what was at one time the Sandpiper Cove Yacht Club. A loyal following was quickly established due, in no small part, to the quality of the food and the attention to detail of the service. In 1998 The Southern Restaurant Group took ownership of the restaurant with a commitment to maintain the same level of food quality and service. Since then, Louisiana Lagniappe has consistently served only the freshest seafood and steaks. Now open year round, Louisiana Lagniappe is the spot for a memorable dining experience on all levels. In 1999, a second Louisiana Lagniappe was opened in the San Roc Cay Shopping and Marina Complex in Orange Beach, Alabama. Offering the same fine Louisiana seafood with a Creole flair, the attire is casual, yet an upscale waterfront dining experience is provided for the entire family.
