My turkey Reuben was good but nothing spectacular, it seemed to be missing 1000 island dressing, which I didn't realize until I was almost done. My wife's mixed green salad with gulf shrimp had blackened shrimp, and it just seemed a bit greasy and the...blackened seasoning a bit commercial. And the shrimp was tail on; sorry, that's not fancy, it's just hard to eat in a dressed salad. My wife had to ask for the dressing twice, it arrived without. She ate about half of her salad which elicited no comment from the server. Service was overall slow, poor, and a bit confused. Two lunch entrees and no drinks (we had water) was $40 with tax, which was too much for the hit-or-miss food and poor service.More

This was not a good experience. We order a bottle of wine to have with our food. They could not find it after 20 minutes and our entrees all came out before the wine. They could not find it so we got a different wine....The food was ok. The couple with us said the same thing happened to them the last time they were there. This is the amazing part there were only Two other small tables with patrons. They were not busy just incompetent. Management and training us needed badly at this Resturant.More

The food was extremely good but our server did not seem to have the time to help us. We had to ask the server about any chief specials which turned out to be grouper. We had to ask another server for additional drinks and a...third server to take a picture of our group.More

Aesthetic rooftop restaurant inside the Grand Bohemian Hotel. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting, however, the menu needs some work. They have a limited menu, and I could not find any vegetarian option on it. The chef however did prepare a veg plate, but...a dish or two on the menu itself would have been nicer. The service and the ambiance are nonetheless top-notch.More

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Bohemian for a date night and ate here for dinner. I had the “market catch” which was sea bass and he had the gulf shrimp plate. We had the warm butter cake for dessert. Our server was...so friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic. The sea bass was cooked to perfection and the dessert was unique and tasted amazing. I especially loved the lemon anglaise they served the butter cake on.More

After reading about the restaurant in the hotel, I thought let’s give it a go. The menu overall was unappealing. Very limited. I wasn’t too hungry so I opted for soup and salad. The Potato leek soup was fine, not special but fine. The wedge...salad was just disappointing. I added the roaster chicken which tasted grilled. I purposely chose it because of the way it was prepared and didn’t want it. I’d not come back because it just wasn’t special and the hotel attached is so special it created a sense of disappointment. I did not see a place to rate the lounge, but I would give it a two thumbs up. Creative drinks and a great outdoor space. The lounge saved the restaurant from a 2 star rating.More

We had appetizers on the terrace, went inside for dinner, and dessert by the fire pit. Both the food and the ambiance were very good. And the service was excellent - thanks Stephanie. It was a most enjoyable evening.

We enjoyed our time at the bar. Ambience was great, service was very good and pleasant but the food is lacking. The presentation was very nice but the flavors were pretty blah. No great taste of the fish, black beans tasted out of a can....Birmingham is a real foodIe town with lots of incredible places to eat. the Habitat at the Grand Bohemian needs to step it up on the culinary front. 2 stars this time. This place should be hopping.More
