Had a wonderful meal. Food was great and staff was very attentive. We kept changing the number of seats we needed and the staff never complained

I dont actually know what keeps me from giving 5 out of 5. Service was good. Food was excellent. But something was missing i guess. Price is high but manageable. Parking right in front was possible. Arguably the nicest area around birmingham. We enjoyed. Check the entree beef....it was amazing.
Enjoyed the space. Feels good. I had oysters okra and avocado salad. Okra breading was not good. Oysters were ok. Just not enough of them. I'll go back again to sample another item. Everyone I've talked to lives this place.
DG is definitely a well run fine dining establishment. The decor and atmosphere are refined but not stuffy. Their menu is very diverse and creative. We have experienced excellent service as well. Reservations are highly recommended. Prices are high, so this is a place for "special occasion" dining as well. We feel it is definitely worth the extra "coin".
The décor was nice. Not just for women as we met friends there.we had a quiet place to eat.we sat by the front window. The desserts are great.

The price of an entrée and 2 sides is $12.95 but you are seated in a nice quiet room with white linens and well-trained wait staff. This is... More
Six of us had dinner at Daniel George. The food was uniformly thought to be excellent. I had oysters on the half shell, followed by fried oysters, something this restaurant knows how to do very well. My wife had scallops, and shrimp ravioli, and was quite pleased. All in our party were happy with the food. I had a glass... More
