During a recent weekend visit to Montgomery my husband and I had lunch at this small restaurant. We started off with spring rolls which I cannot recommend due to excessive oiliness. Our server was also initially a little abrupt which nearly caused us to walk...out but maybe we just caught her at a bad time because during the rest of our experience she was friendly. Then our entrees of Thai spaghetti were served and they were absolutely scrumptious. I loved all the green and red peppers and the flavor made me want to run back to the kitchen and beg for more. Many locals were dining and I could tell they were regulars. If I lived in Montgomery I would be a regular too. Prices are very reasonable and plenty of free parking is available. Fun antique mall is in the same center so you can shop and try to walk off your lunch.More

I was treated to dinner here by my son and daughter-in-law. This restaurant has been here a very long time. It's in an old shopping strip and very easy to miss. On my son's advice I ordered Lad Nah, which I had never had before,...and enjoyed it. You can custom order your entree to your preferred heat level, which is a big bonus for me, as I detest bland. Prices are very reasonable, service was perfect.More

Where can I start? The Green Papaya might not look like much on the outside, but the food is remarkable. We always start out with the Chicken Thom Kha soup which is perfect every time. The next part is tricky because every single menu item...is amazing. I love the Panang Curry Chicken, Green Curry, and Pad Thai, but have not been disappointed by anything I have ever gotten. You will not be disappointed if you visit here.More

We tried the Magic Green and the Thai Sweet and Sour. Both were good. The price was good and we had too much food to eat.

Wife and I decided to stop in for lunch. Very large lunch crowd for a small restaurant. Ordered one daily special and one sweet and sour dish. Very good. Will return. Ordered sweet tea for beverage. The tea was too sweet. Had to cut it...with unsweet.More

Green Papaya is located in the same strip mall as Eastbrook Flea Market & Antique store, a place I visit about twice a year. Each time I go to Eastbrook, I have lunch at the Green Papaya. The place isn't amazing in its decor or...atmosphere, but the food is great! I get the same dish each time. It's the glass noodles (I think it's described as bean-paste noodles) with the shrimp. It's not a spicy dish, but it sure is tasty!More

A friend and I ate here recently and I was very disappointed. I had eaten here once before and it was okay, not great but okay. This time we both ordered fried rice, mine with shrimp and hers with chicken. Service was fair but the...server never checked back on us. It was a bit before 1 and they weren't busy. My fried rice with shrimp was pitiful in flavor and shrimp were over cooked. The first time I ate here I ordered a noodle dish which was okay but this time the food was just not good. Another problem we experienced was an employee vacuuming the floor next to our table. I totally do not approve of that while I am eating! The person checking us out was about as unfriendly as one could imagine. Really no incentive to return.More

First visit here. As Southeast Asians, we are very familiar with food from Thailand. There is no way the "Thai Spicy" level is related in any way whatsoever to how Thai people eat. I did not eat the fried rice dish I ordered. Although I...could handle it at my lips and tongue, I knew it would do serious damage to my stomach. I would invite the chef to sample his or her own cooking before putting it out.More

First visit was Friday nite with my teen son who is a Pad Thai connoisseur since his toddler years😉. He chose the lightly fried chicken with veggies; I ordered the Pad Thai (because experience teaches Mothers to have a back up plan with our children's...favorites, right?). Truly wanted one of the fish dishes; but when the server told me the selection was tilapia, I passed. We shared the dumplings as appetizer - sooooo good, I'd recommend you order one order per person. Both entrees were flavorful - especially the sauce of the Pad Thai, which was lacking in the amount of noodles (noted by my son this morning, which was a reminder to complete this....) typically found in "Americanized" Pad Thai. A bit pricey for the overall experience; but I've become accustomed, unfortunately - no choice, to inflated dining costs for Montgomery. We'll return; because the food IS good, it's fresh and comes out super fast.More

Customer service was great; Food okay. Had the spring rolls, Tom Yum soup and the "Simply Adventure" specialty dish. I've had much better Thai food. This was just okay.
