Many great items on the menu...but the hummus keeps bringing us back! Also the fried chicken and red beans on the lunch menu is ridiculously delicious. Several of their salads have unique flavor combinations that are wonderful as well! We have always had excellent service and staff encounters everytime we go. Hint: they usually mix a great martini!!!
I've seen hockey pucks sporting more visually appealing traits than the Zea roasted potatoes. I've had canned steam-table vegetables mumbling angrily in their fourth hour at the University of West Florida dining hall that I trusted to cooperate with peristalsis more than the slimy asparagus and green things in little fey ceramic dishes at Zea. I had the battered shrimp. The service size was huge. It was tasty and I highly recommend the roasted corn grits as a side. The restaurant is located halfway between the airport and the hotels along I65. It is on Airport where there is a concentration of restaurants and strip malls along this road.
Zea's was a little different for me. I wasn't sure what to expect. The prices were not outrageous as I had thought, the food was good and the service was very nice.
We visited Zeas on Saturday evening just at 7, but we called ahead for a place in the wait line. When we arrived, we were taken straight to a booth and the server appeared immediately to take our drink order. The drinks were brought out very fast. The waiter was a polite young man. We ordered the Thai rib appetizer. You... More
The veal was good but the grits were the best that I have ever had. My daughter liked her catfish tacos. The prices were good. They have their own brand of beer made by a Louisiana brewery. It was good as well. I see myself coming back.
