Just like many other restaurants downtown, 219 serves sandwiches. I must say, their variety of options off the norm separate them from the rest. Now I cannot speak for the atmosphere since we had this order brought in, but I have driven by many times and it looks interesting. I ordered the Thai Chicken wrap with the peanut sauce on... More

We tried the house panini as well as the Cuban and they were both very good sandwiches. They brought around oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies as a complimentary dessert. Parking was a bit expensive at $8 in the lot next-door. It looked to be a very popular place with people working in the downtown area

Have eaten here several times - love to sit in the courtyard out back when it's not too hot because it feels like you're in New Orleans. Have had several sandwiches, salads, soups, and pizza, and everything has been great. Service is super friendly, and check out the grocery store-type items on your way out. Don't be confused - bar... It was more expensive than I expected but everything was tasty and with quality ingredients. Building from the outside is underwhelming and inside pleasant. Had great pimento cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup. Curry chicken was okay. Waitress offered free chocolate chip cookies. For desert had gourmet chocolate banana Popsicle.

Absolutely the best for lunch. Go thru and sit in the back. Very cozy and comfortable patio. Ask for Craig. Very reasonable prices and great food.

I love 219! I used to work at the Mobile Chamber of Commerce and this place became my cafeteria. Now, we make sure to go there at least once every time we visit the coast. Great sandwiches. My favorites are the meatball sub and my most beloved smoked gouda/ham/tomato with pesto mayo. Great soups too, and a full bar.

Ran right from the antique mall over to 219 in a major downpour. There we were served DELICIOUS hot soup..... I had fresh creamy tomato/basil while my friend had chunky potato with onions and bacon. Our fella had a Cajun Chef salad that was gigantic. Another friend had the Pot roast special that she said was so tender and deeeelicious.... More

This is a very small but neighborhood type eatery. Potato salad is one of the best and zucchini wraps are great. l've never found them elsewhere and could order them here every time.

We stopped here for lunch when we were exploring the Dauphin & Gov't St area of Mobile. We saw the reviews on TripAdvisor & are so glad we did. I had the Cuban Panini, spouse had the Red Beans & Rice. Food was outstanding, great ambiance and friendly staff. A real "neighborhood" place, with many diners who were obviously regulars.... More

Chicken and Sausage Gumbo with a ham and gouda sandwich made for a good lunch on a dreary rainy day.
