Great place for coffee / food just a street away from Jonker Walk. Environment is great. Coffee was aromatic but a bit on the pricey end. As the environment was quite dark, there were mosquitoes though. Will return to try other food on the menu...More

The pumpkin soup was too sweet! Drinks was good but food was just average and overpriced! Not worth going again

We went there for breakfast because of the review. The ambiance was great. The food was average and coffee was terrible. It was so diluted as I was drinking water with coffee. This is why I think it is not worth to spend so much...More

The ambiance at this cafe was great. The food was to die for ( try the ESP, and you won’t be disappointed 😊), the staff was attentive and the place was just gorgeous. Also, the best apple juice I’ve had in Malaysia! If you are...More

Since we waked up early, we decided to find a good place for some breakfast and this is among some of the cafes that are opened very early. We took a grab from our hotel to this place and surprisingly there is not much of...More

A group of 8 went there this morning to have breakfast. First we were told that they run out of kaya, so any dish with kaya on the menu is either not available or will be replaced with something else. We arrived at the cafe...More

Ambience is ok...in fact if you walk around melaka, you'll find similar cafes...so nothing to shout about. Now, let's talk about the food. Ordered the CAT, grilled chicken chop, mushroom soup and Kaya breakfast. The CAT is a disappointment, just a cheese and tomato dip...More

This spot is definitely in my top 3 moments of my trip! Went in for a late breakfast on a Friday morning, there was barely any other customers which was a win for me, actually. Food was great but the ambience was what got me....More

Pros: 1) It has nice ambiance. 2) We got discount on food (the chef cooked the wrong pasta so we got compensated). Cons: 1) Food arrived slow. Took 30mins+ for my spaghetti to arrive. I came with a group of 5 people and only two...More

The name of Kaya-kaya Cafe comes from a local spread known as “kaya”. It is generally rich in flavor and thick in texture. As such, our menu is created using the two keywords – richness and thickness. Our key vision is to promote more local specialties to foreigners. We elaborately design our fusion menu using our own local ingredients, such as salted egg chicken and sambal prawn, to serve with pasta. We serve food with kaya as well. Unlike the usual kaya that can be found everywhere, our kaya is especially homemade with duck eggs and Malacca sugar. One of the signature dishes that are served with kaya is “Malacca Elvis”; a pancake stack with sliced banana and kaya sandwiched in between, drizzled with homemade chocolate and peanut butter sauce. We also serve traditional dishes like “Yin Yong Toast” with kaya and butter and “Kaya Cheese Toast”.
