I've becoming here regularly on my trips to Melaka. If you are looking for authentic Nyonya food, this is it. Would recommend it on any trip to Melaka. Only recommendation is to book ahead as they are notorious for turning away customers during busy seasons. If you are particular on trying out certain dishes, please book those in advance to... Visited this place recommended by a friend. Is not worth to try. The food is not up to its quality. They don't taste like any nyonya food. They are more like THAI FUSION. Besides the food the service is terrible. The lady boss is so RUDE and arrogant. We requested a simple meesiam for our diabetic aunt to be served... More

I came to Amy's in March of this year, and had the door's blown off my expectations of what Melakan Nyonya Restaurants could offer. Namely, the banana blossom salad, and the smoky, creamy chicken stew with buah keluak (black nut), blew my mind as very few dishes in my 6 or so years of visiting and eating around Malaysia have--such... The duck soup was tasteless. Mixed vegetables was undercooked. Fish tasted like eating paper. Crispy chicken wings were ordinary. Over priced menu with overrated reviews. We do not recommend this restaurant.

My advice is to reserve first before you go. We made a reservation and had to TT a deposit to the owner. Fair enough cos I understand this restaurant is always full house. The restaurant is quite small so it quickly fills up during meal time. I hv read quite a few complaints about the owner. My opinion is that... More

First time trying baba nyonya food here recommended by my sister. The food was really delicious especially the asam pedas fish and the tauhu. But gotta reserve here for large groups coz it's always house full.

The owner was arrogant and he was making a fuss throughout about the no. of chairs down to the numbers of plates and utensils we are using as we have few children (4 in exact) who requires proper seats and serving plates. The food were served very fast but the taste was lousy and cannot be customized when we asked... More

Took a taxi out to Amy's as it was located in Melaka Jaya, far from our hotel in Jonker Street. We arrived around 6pm without a reservation as it was mid week. We were VERY LUCKY to get a table as the places was very popular with both the locals and the tourists. We saw people who have booked being... More

Owner has a lot of air in him.Even though restaurant closes at 2.30pm, we arrived at 1.15pm and our last order was at 1.30pm.After that we could not order anything else except for rice and plain water.Full of attitude when taking our order and was rushing. The sambal was salty, lime juice was syrup based and not fresh, the prawns lemak... More

There's not much else nearby by ways of tourist attractions so it took us a while to find this place after we got a recommendation from our contact at the hotel. Despite this, and judging from the reviews, we may have got lucky to get a table despite having no reservation. Arriving at around 1pm, it was quite busy. I... More
