A nice greenery set up to enjoy quietness. Had a homemade lemongrass honey lemon drink which is very refreshing. Didn't manage to try the food as i was very full after breakfast. This cafe has a no photography rule. However i don't understand what a big fuss of patrons taking photos in the cafe. This is just so common nowadays... More

Heritage building, easy to walk past without noticing... But once inside. Wow. Like stepping back in time. Good drinks menu - mostly soft drinks - and a selection of burgers. House rules on the door ensure quietness and selfies are banned! Hallelujah. Best eatery in Malacca - the opposite experience of Hard Rock Cafe!

This place is a must in Melaka, so make sure you give it a try before leaving the city. We tried the burger and the salmon pasta and both were amazing, and the staffs were super nice. It's like eating in a Forrest full of art for couple of hours. Their aquarium-like tables and unique art are just adorable.

I like the lay back and green ambient here. Good place to have a drink or meal after walk around in Jonker street. The pork chop signature Burger is really delicious. If you can drink wine, must try their home made honey wine.

Yes, we’ve seen about every permutation of burgers by this point. The Baboon House is an unsung hero in a world of overstuffed and overpriced burgers. Inside is a space that more closely resembles a dense garden than a restaurant. Beaten up wooden tables and chairs punctuate grubby shelves and art-strewn walls in a nice natural lush tropical environment. The... More

First, it's a great space - interesting, attractive, peaceful, welcoming. And the staff was very good - knew their stuff, friendly, helpful. Dessert was pretty great as well (sticky brownie - and a good one), as was coffee. Finally, the juices and smoothies were good. So for coffee and cake mid afternoon, relaxed and breezy, this is 5 star. The... More

This place is beautiful and the food is absolutely amazing. It's very unassuming from the outside, but inside it's a lovely setting with plants, lots of natural light, art work, all in a historic local building. I had the Aloha Burger and it was exceptional. If you're after super cheap Malaysian food then this isn't the place - it's more... More

If you are overwhelmed by the density and noise of South East Asia, and need an oasis of peace, with good coffee thrown in, this is the place for you. Congrats to the owners, who have built this place up in contrary to all the pressures of a touristy town. The tables are well spaced, peace reigns, art is everywhere,... More
