The first time we tried nyonya food almost 30 years ago was this restaurant. We loved it so much! This time we went back to check it out and found the food is still good. A little bit disappointment was the ice. The taste is still good but the amount of "cendol" and "kacang" in the bowl seems fewer than... More

The food at this restaurant was excellent! Everything we had tickled our palates (assam fish, chicken rendang, sambal shrimp, salted vegetables and duck soup, cincalok omelette and nonya chap chye). However, we felt the otak-otak was a disappointment as we felt it was bland-tasting and its texture was too soft. The highlight of our meal was the massive bowl of... More

Ordered the Asam fish, lemak udang, chicken rendang, Nyonya chap Chye (mixed vegetables). Food was delicious, portions were pretty generous too. Will definitely be back.

The food here is not too bad quite tasty but just very pricey . I don't think we will go back there again unless the prices go down.

I joined short trip and one of the highlight is the dinner at Ole Sayang. I am not sure if this is the best nyonya restaurant but it does serves quite decent food. Not much interaction with the staff but so far they seems friendly. We had 9 courses meal for dinner. Food generally are nice but salty. Those i... More

We went on Sunday afternoon as we couldn't find a seat in Makko. The staff were very impatient. Refused to say how much is a fish dish and say the kitchen will decide. Was thinking how costly can it be in Malacca and just order it. At the end of ordering, she snatch my menu and walk off. The chicken and... More

Authentic Peranakan - all freshly cooked. Quite extensive menu, good service. Best dishes - the chilli prawns and the Special Chicken (bit like a rendang). The Otah also very good but needs at least two servings for a group of 5.

The food is not too bad, this used to be the only restaurant I knew at Melaka since 15 years ago. It is now bigger than before since the last time i visited several years ago, but the food seems much better then, may be I ordered the wrong food this time.
