We have tried every Chinese

We have tried every Chinese restaurant in Madison, and this one is our favorite. Get the steamed dumplings and crab rangoon. Their sushi is good also. One thing I'd advise however is if you're getting take-out, say no soy sauce because the little soy sauce cups always turn over so just ask for it in packets when you get there.

Much overlooked Asian Cuisine

This small hole in the wall is a quaint little restaurant. The food available ranges from sushi rolls to teriyaki chicken with lo mien. I have had many sushi rolls and everyone is tasty and filling. The teriyaki options have many different meats to choose from along with differing starches. One of my favorites is the teriyaki chicken and shrimp with mushrooms. The prices are excellent for the quality and quantity of food presented here. I would most certainly recommend stopping by!

Ordered the small Kung Pao Chicken w/fried rice and 2 egg rolls. the Kung Pao was delicious and the serving was generous. the egg rolls' crust was good but their insides were soggy. there was absolutely no texture to the carrots & cabbage and i couldn't tell if the they contained pork or not. however, the yummy Kung Pao Chicken made up for it and i will return to sample more of their dinners, just not the egg rolls.

Just ok. My husband ordered

Just ok. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef bento box and enjoyed most of it. We love crab rangoons but These were so sweet we couldn’t eat them. Diabetics beware!!!! I ordered the chicken and broccoli and won’t order it again. Not sure if it was even chicken. We’d prefer if they not put sugar (it’s poison) in their food. Probably won’t go back.

I ordered online and went through the drive-thru which was very convenient. The proportions were very very generous. We ordered several different dishes and they were all very bland. We had plenty leftovers but nobody ate them. Honestly, I would have rather ate Panda Express.

Maybe it’s what I ordered

I rated this place based on my General Tao’s chicken. The chicken was on the tougher side and the sauce had no sweetness at all, very savory. The chicken occasionally had an odd flavor. The portion size was ample, enough for two people. I ordered an egg roll and ended up with spring rolls. Language barrier, I think. I think pointing to the menu would hedge your bet. Considering the great revues I’ll try it again, but I’ll order something different.

Unexpectedly Delicious

The building was suspicious, but the food was spectacular. The sushi was phenomenal. I honestly was not expecting the quality of the food to be as excellent as it is.

Really an outstanding place to eat. Excellent food and ambiance. The place is a restored mansion with several separate dining areas which makes for quiet dining. The hibachi filet was very good at a reasonable price.

A Bit Disappointing

Basically a takeout Chinese food spot. Portions are good but overall, you could probably get this kind of food at any Chinese food restaurant to be honest. Service is great and the staff is wonderful.

There is more than just teriyaki

Enjoyed our first visit here. The staff is personable and attentive. My wife had shrimp fried rice, which she thought was bland, but I found to be very good. I had the General Tso chicken and liked it very much. We plan to go back to try other dishes soon.

This was my first Redfish dinner visit. The Tiger Roll was very good, freshly prepared for $10.95. Very good for a quuck meal.
