App, salad, soup, and entree were all very well prepared. Crowded but we were seated immediately. Service was very good as well and our waitress was attentive. Had an isolated booth that shielded the noise of the grill. Atmosphere was lacking for the upscale area....Very plain and not very appealing. With a make over and good cleaning, it could be a five star location.More

I wanted to take my family out and celebrate my birthday. I was trying to decide between this place and another, when our friends recommended Sakura. I've never left a restaurant so disappointed and regretful of eating there until this trip. We went in and...say down no issues. It took the waitress almost 10 minutes to bring our drinks and another 10 minutes to order. After that she kept disappearing and when she showed up she was too busy trying to push go boxes and other stuff to even listen to my kids ask for refills. The cook wasn't entertaining and rather boring. My wife and I had steak in our order and we both asked for medium rare, the other party asked fillet mignon done. He cooked ours longer than he did the other. Our steak was tough and chewy. Our rice had no flavor and was missing the peas and carrots mixed in it. I feel the portion size was incredibly small. The only thing that was decent was the shrimp and noodles. This was a complete waste of my money. I will never be back again.More

Went to try out Sakura recently, food was good. Everyone had the hibachi. Filet was very tender. Would like to go back and try out the sushi.

Date night with my husband and we were looking for a hibachi place in the local area so we went to Sakura. We ordered the shrimp dumplings and they were good. I asked for green tea (usually I get a small teapot of it when...I order it but they brought me one mug of it and charged me $2.05), my husband a beer. We ordered filet, lobster, shrimp, & scallop dinner for two, no noodles, extra veggies. It was us & one other lady that we struck up a conversation with. The chef came to the table started to cook & when it was clear that we weren’t there for the show he got louder & almost belligerent. When he went to put the rice on my plate he got rice all in my tea. I called the waitress over and asked her to replace my tea & she did. When I got my bill she also tried to charge me an additional $2.05, for green tea! They forgot to give us extra veggies we had to tell them not to give us noodles (again) and that we requested extra veggies (again) and the kitchen brought the chef out more veggies. The food was so-so, the service too. We met a very nice lady there, that was the highlight of the evening. I’m apt to give a restaurant a second chance but not with so many strikes against it and at such an expensive price. I’d rather go to Panda Express & pay half the price, not get my food thrown at me and know my green tea is not going to cost an arm & a leg.More

We usually come for the Hibachi, but sometimes we need some sushi. I HIGHLY reccomend the Roll Tide Roll. It is wonderful and one of the best rolls we have ever had...

My family and I went in for an early dinner on a Saturday. We were the first and only ones there. We ordered sushi for apps and it was mediocre at best. There were 2 servers fixing their hair and tying their long hair in...to ponytails behind the sushi bar where our sushi was being made... Grossed me out. If they do that in the open in front of guests imagine what they do in the actual kitchen. The hibachi chef took 25 min to get to our table and he prepared our meals looking like he hated his job. He never smiled or interacted with us other than asking for the temps on our steaks. The portions were smaller than we were used to, the waitress was scattered brained and inattentive, I asked her a simple question 3 separate times before she ‘found out’ for me. We spent well over a hundred dollars for dinner and walked out unimpressed by their food, very disappointed in customer service, and grossed out about all that hair tying where food was being prepared and served. There are plenty of other hibachi places around. Save your hard earned money and spend it at a restaurant that appreciates and values your business by offering exceptional customer service and abides by simple health codesMore

Went for a sharing sushi for starter, very good could taste the different types of fish. Then onto hibachi, the lettuce salad was excellent, then onto the floor show. Ther chef did all the tricks and then after I found the food very good -...I should not have had the starter. Service was prompt and attentive.More

First time here and also last. Food was average at best, but service was awful. I still don't understand why servers and ultimately the restaurants want to treat you like an object on a conveyor belt. The place was not even busy. There were maybe...15 people in a place that seats around 100. I had to count my sushi because it looked short on the amount and it was. Nobody should have to do that. It was short 2 pieces and there was no apology once the rest was brought up. And the icing on the cake for us was when we're still eating and the server brings the bill, places it on the table and leaves. At least sometimes servers ask if we wanted anything else, but not this one. so he wanted us gone. So we did....never go back!More

I asked some locals if there was a Japanese steak house near and 2 told me about this place. Glad we went. It's hidden in Publix mall. It wasn't busy. There's like 2 big areas where they cook in front of you. Kids love watching...them cook in front of you. Great place to celebrate your birthday. They bring a drum out & sing to you. There is a bar there. They also have a sushi bar, we didn't try any yet. There are other seating area. The environment is real nice, waterfall, clean bathrooms that have bowl shaped sinks. The staff were very friendly. Great place to eat at with the family and it's quiet, not so busy. Think this will be 1 of our new spots.More

Went and checked this place out for an early dinner and enjoyed the experience. Food was pretty good & the hibachi chef put on a decent show. Only odd part of the experience was sitting with whom I later found out was the owner's wife...who sat with us, for some odd reason, did nothing but stare at us and smile in a very creepy sort of way throughout the entire meal...yeah...not exactly sure what to make of that, but got annoying very quick. Definitely check this place out for a good Japanese dinner!More

Total time from being seated to eating was about 15 minutes. Our waitress, Grace, was very attentive and made sure our drinks were always full. The chef was great - very entertaining. The food was vey good, I had the sirloin steak, my wife had...the salmon, and my son had the chicken. All meals come with soup, salad, fried rice, and vegetables. Not too expensive, you can always find coupons in different advertisement that will provide a discount. It had been a while since we had eaten here and we will definitely be back.More

very friendly staff and food is amazing! it can be pricey, but often they have lunch specials; the chicken is great and the steak and shrimp are amazing (and I normally do not like shrimp); prices at the hibachi table are less expensive and more...food than sitting at a table or booth; my children like to go here for birthdays and other celebrations; it is fun to look at our pictures and other people we know posted on the wall in the lobby; they make their own yum yum sauce and it tastes great on everything; on special occasions, if you request, will sing and also beat a drum (and let children and adults try out the drum too!)More
